What happens if you catch fish @4 minute mark, and before you can land fish, loop has started over. Sorry this is all new to me, just confused and trying to figure this out. Thanks
You would still have 5 minutes from the moment you catch the fish. I believe it replaces the recording minute by minute

When using the 5min interval, it only saves 1min of the video, why is that?
@jordanevans65 it will save them as 1 minute clips but all 5 minutes should be there.

Just started doing the exact same thing on my kayak. I fish saltwater only though so I've had to make a DIY waterproof box to house my usb connections.

Why 60fps vs 30fps? Just curious
60fps allows for a smoother slow-motion video. If I want to slow my video down by half speed I still have 30fps Vs 15fps if I filmed in 30fps. This creates less choppy looking slow-motion video.

We have bald eagles, osprey, trumpeter, swans, loons n so much more. So peaceful and serene. It’s my third year of kayak fishing but have fished for 50+ years. Loving it!! Keep these videos coming!

Does Ontario have kayak bass fishing tournaments? If so have you thought about entering them?
Yes sir, look up OKBT and KBC tournaments. OKBT are live events, KBC are online monthly challenges but they've also introduced some live events for this year.

Thank you! The launch that I used is a private launch not open to the public. There are lots of public launches around, Google Maps has a list of all the public launches on Rice lake or most of the marinas will let you launch for a small fee.

This is a great idea for someone like me, because I'm now handicapped and have lost most of the functional use of my right foot & ankle and left knee. Lifting anything is now very difficult. So, this invention looks like it could get me back in the water. Thanks for sharing!
