I listened to this song years ago before I was headed for a valley , it gave me hope to hold on .

Your story is so...MY story in so many ways. I heard your testimony many years ago. For over 25 years I've sung your songs. As a DJ I have an International syndicated show, and it always has one or two of your songs about each week. As a Pastor, my congregation loves to hear me sing your music. I've been in ministry for over 25 years and your songs are as fresh today...as when your wrote them. I started back then with "The Old Man is Dead" and it took me about six months to be able to preform it.....I would get to the 2nd verse and start crying....the song just moved me so much. It told my story so well and I was so overcome with the understanding of GRACE! I pray things are well in Kerrville for you and your ministry is strong! God Bless you Del. You just have no idea what your music has done for me and for so many that I've shared it with.

What an amazing, awesome song, I was just this morning reading a couple of Bible verses, and I wanted to post them to my Facebook story, I like to post a song to my story and here I came across this song , I listen to it and my heart ♥️ just melted, this song was so appropriate for the moment I felt I needed to hear a word from God, I went to TH-cam and searched for the name of this song, I listen to it, and it just ministered to my heart ♥️ Calvary’s the reason why. I was broken and I realized that God has been so good to me and still is, the devil tried but he is defeated. "Livin This Life" my all time favorite Del Way song!! And my friend, the Nashville recording, to me, is phenomenal!! Father's hand was/is all over that song!! It's most people's lives. I love my Father!!! He gave us His Son and Holy Spirit. I used to play county fairs around Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. I did a Branson style show with the first part country the middle a tribute to our military and the last country gospel with humor throughout. Had a friend who did Mini Pearl and my wife did Loretta Lynn. I always wanted people to have an opportunity to hear about Father and His Son.. Sometimes I miss that time of my life...
