Where is tithing taught in the New Testament? There is no scripture whatsoever in the New Testament asking Christians to tithe. When Jesus once referred to the practice, he was talking about Pharisees who were still under the Law of Moses and not about New Testament believers.
Christians ARE NOT under Mosaic law and that includes TITHING So stealing from people through the LIE of Tithing IS NOT OK. Pastors that tell you to TITHE are liars thieves and charlatans If Jesus and the apostles did not TITHE what would make you think we as Christians SHOULD have to TITHE. JESUS never gave a percent. GIVE WHAT YOU WANT JESUS SAID GIVE FREELY NOT UNDER PRESSURE 7 Reasons Christians Are Not Required to Tithe 1. Believers are no longer under the Mosaic covenant (Rom. 6:14-15; 7:5-6; Gal. 3:15-4:7; 2 Cor. 3:4-18). 2. The examples of Abraham and Jacob are not normative patterns. 3. Tithes were given to the Levites and priests, but there are no Levites and priests in the new covenant. 4. The tithe is tied to the land Israel received under the old covenant. 5. When Jesus affirmed the tithe, it was before the dawn of the new covenant. 6. Nowhere is tithing mentioned when commands to give generously are found in the New Testament. 7. Give Generously NOT A PERCENTAGE NOT UNDER PRESSURE.
Amen

Amen hallelujah 🙌 giving tithes and offerings to the Lord is the way to impress Him. 🙂
Tithes was talking about food in Malachi. Open up heaven is about rain.

Tithing in the New Testament Church is showing a lack of understanding and faith in what Christ did for us on the Cross. Giving, is God's New Testament Church way of supporting the church and those in need. However, whether through ignorance or greed, The teaching of 'Tithing' in the New Testament Chursh is false doctrine! Beginning in *Malachi 1:6 "O priests who despise My name", God is speaking to the Sons of Levi and Jacob, the Levitical priesthood under the law of sin and death, the Mosaic Law, not the nation of Israel, not the Bride of Christ, not the New Testament Church. In *Malachi 1:8 God tells the Levitical Priesthood they are presenting blind, halt, and lame, sacrifices and even suggests it is evil. Again, God was NOT speaking to Israel, the Bride of Christ, the New Testament Church, in these scriptures. He's speaking to the levitical priesthood, especially in *Malachi 3:8-10 when he threatens the Levitical Priesthood with a Curse for robbing God and the nation of Israel of Tithes and Offerings, for the aforementioned reasons in Malachi 1:8. Also, the Biblical Tithe was never 'Money'. In the Bible, they never paid the priesthood with Shekels, Silver, and Gold; they paid a tenth of their agricultural products, clearly not Money, yet clearly they had money to pay it with if that were an acceptable Tithe. In addition to this, the Word of God tells us in *James 2:10 "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.". No one could ever keep all 613 commandments and ordinances under the law of sin and death, the Mosaic Law. But Christ's sacrifice on the cross made a way, *Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" *Hebrews 7:5 "And those indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest's office have commandment in the Law to collect a tenth from the people, that is, from their brethren, although these are descended from Abraham" *Hebrews 7:11 "Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the people received the Law), what further need was there for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be designated according to the order of Aaron?" *Hebrews 7:18-19 "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God." Our perfect example of how God wants us to support and give in the new testament church today is in *Matthew 10:8 and *2 Corinthians 9:7 Get out of the Law of Sin and Death and choose the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus and be led by the Holy Spirit instead of a man, the Holy Spirit is way superior to that old carnal law!
I respect your reply and time. to me it is very simple, give me a verse that the Bible says to stop tithing.
@@matthewtuazon4126 You can give anything you want, but if you read my post, if you have read through the scriptures regarding biblical Tithing and what it was, you cannot biblically call giving Money a 'Tithe', as Money was never an acceptable Tithe, even though they had Shekels, Silver, and Gold to pay it with if that were an acceptable Tithe. You can't call Money a Tithe, you can call giving ten percent of your paycheck a tenth, but you can't call it a Tithe, not biblically!
@@matthewtuazon4126 yes I agree. We can tithe our money. Especially for those who do not own farms or agricultural lands. If we own ricelands we can also give a tenth for the sacks of rice we harvested to the church.
Deuteronomy 14:24-25 :25 the last part- then you shall exchange for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses. Was Abel under the law when he tithed? Why was Cain's late and partial offering rejected? Who is Melchizedek and why is He receiving tithes forever? Will tithing carry on in heaven forever? Why did Jesus in Matthew 23.23 say we tithe was important but we must not neglect the weightier matters of the law - the Royal law of love? Malachi's @ gives 2 conditions for realising the blessings of tithing -a short term financial goal and a long term goals. Do I need a job to receive the blessings of Tithing? All this questions and more answered in this exciting video - Everything About Tithing. The A-Z on Tithing @
@@vivenciogeorgetorres1720 Tithing in the new testament church age is unscriptural, is anti-scriptural, is anti-Biblical, and brings upon yourself the curse of the law of sin and death, the mosaic law! Try the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, be led by the Holy Spirit instead of a man laying claim to your hard earned money which the Bible has no doctrine for. Give what you purpose in your heart, not out of compulsion from a threat of a curse that has no relevance to the new testament church, but has much relevance to the levitical priesthood under the mosaic law. Get to know God and your Bible!
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a TENTH of your spices-mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former (TITHES). Matthew 23:23 NIV
which was??? mint, dill, and cumin, none of which are money. Why did Jesus tell them this? Because they were living under the law, not only because Jesus had not died for our sins on the cross yet, ushering in the new covenant, but also because they had unbelief.
Brother it is not a Christian believer who is in Mathew 23:23 and God is not pls.your tithe offering anymore.Hebrews 10:8...and teach our Brethdren that God loves a cheerful giver.2Corinthians 9:7.. and pls.only whatsoever Christ commanded us you will preach.Mathew 28:20.. dont be a party of a pharisees.Acts 15:5-24..God bless you. Monetary Tithing is a false doctrine that was made mandate by the Roman Catholic Church in 777 AD. Is tithing under grace? No........... Is tithing for Christians? No Is God's tithe monetary? No Pastors, are they Levites? No Did the Gentiles pay tithe? No Is church the biblical storehouse? No Should tithe be eaten outside Israel? No Tithing, was it meant to pay church bills? No Did God command non Israelites to pay tithe? No Should tithe come from outside the land of Israel? No Did the Levites had an inheritance in the land of Israel? No....................

@@matthewtuazon4126 Present day tithe is a false doctrine. In mosaic law tithe was paid in crops, wine, oil and livestock not money. You are twisting the scriptures.........Jesus was rebuking the pharisees for being hypocrates.
@@matthewtuazon4126 Nobody tithes today, even the Jews do not tithe because there is no Temple in Jerusalem nor Levitical priests. Read the Bible careful without quoting what you hear other preachers say.
