The Circus Bee ( The Amazing Digital Circus AMV/CMV)
Twentieth Century Nicoville presents another banger AMV! And we do mean a banger of an AMV. Many of you will recognize the indie animated series, The Amazing Digital Circus, which has skyrocketed in popularity in the past year or so. This Australian adult independent-animated web series created by Gooseworx through Glitch Studios is one of the most interesting animated series we have seen in years, and its all thanks to the cast and crew that made the show a success!
With that said, what better way to express a love for a circus than with a circus march. The military band, or in this case the wind band has been a staple of circuses throughout the 19th and early 20th century. There were many composers that wrote marches to be played at an extremely fast tempo, unlike the military tempos of John Philip Sousa. One of these composers was Henry Fillmore, graduated from the Cinncinati School of Music, he was a famous circus bandmaster and published several marches, some of which had to be cleverly titled to avoid the ire of his musically religious and conservative father. This march, the Circus Bee, was published in celebration that his father allowed him to publish his music through his publishing business in 1908. The Circus Bee was the name of an imaginary circus newspaper (Think of The Washington Post March) and reflects Fillmore's lifelong interest in circuses and his varied experiences while touring with five different big top shows.
Hijinks and merriment ensues, as well as a little dark humor, reference, and jokes in between.

CONTEXT: There used to be a channel that bore my name without permission, and it was just reused footage of my AMVs but with added kiddie shows (such as Mona in the thumbnail. The amvs made were pretty childish, but I am more of a mature more eloquent AMV maker. The channel since changed its name but I was shocked when I found out about this channel.
