My 2021 defender mx10 sounds like it’s whining in the back end what is this?
@@AprilFlowers-ws2nh Noises can be difficult to identify. Things to note when you hear a noise: -What area is the noise coming from? Front? Back? Left? Right? -When is the noise occurring? During acceleration? During braking? When turning? -Is it associated with engine speed or wheel speed? -Is it happening only in certain conditions or is it constant? When it is hot or cold out? Did it get wet? Items you can check: -Things caught in the suspension or brakes. -Broken, worn, or loose components like brake, suspension, or drivetrain parts. I love having the hood rack. Super useful to have that extra space to put stuff and you can actually reach it from inside the cab.
I don't normally comment but that was extremely informative. I have a '24 Can-Am Defender XT HD9 with only about 65 miles but I wanted to learn more about my machine and this did just that. Awesome stuff brother!

@@frostbear3590 I’m that dude, thanks for the feedback. Is there anything you want to see in particular or just a better close up?
I have one of these and it does not have enough suction to pull fluid from caliper. Mine looks the same as yours. Reviews on Amazon are mixed with many having no suction
@@brentsmith3745 That is not the experience I have had with mine. Do you have the cap off the master cylinder and brake bleeder open? What kind of vehicle are you using it on?
@@LazyDWorx My bleeder screws were corroded closed. Will see hoe it works when they are replaced. 2012 mustang
@@brentsmith3745 That’s a good place to start for sure 👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks for watching!
The thing with vaccum bleeding it seems hard not to pull air out around the bleeder valve, usually have to apply sealant or cover the connection area with grease

Is there a rear differential change or is it the same as doing the front Diff?
@@troybrya5279 The rear differential is inside the transmission, when you change the transmission oil you are changing the rear differential at the same time.

@@bryanmorvant88 Glad this was useful to you! Thanks for commenting!
@@LazyDWorx I need that lift for sure 😂. Regarding the spark plug does that need to be done every year?
@@LazyDWorx One more question and I’ll leave you alone. In the manual it says lubricate periodically. I don’t see any grease fittings for my 2018 Kawasaki SX XC. What are we supposed to lubricate?
@@bryanmorvant88 Most service kits come with them so I always do, just one less thing to worry about. But most of them look really good still. You could go several years without issues as long as it’s not running too rich or burning oil.
@@bryanmorvant88 Honestly I cannot remember offhand if there are any grease fittings, there may be one on a carrier bearing for the front driveshaft, other than that there may be none. If I find something more I will let you know 👍🏼👍🏼
Try turning the engine off to relieve pressure on the transmission let RTV roll back to level ground. I have found mine will then shift easily. Also if it’s hard to shift from low to another gear after climbing a hill, shift io reverse to relieve pressure and then it will shift easily to second or high

@@richardp359 Autometer “Factory Match” and steering column gauge mount.
@@richardp359 I tow pretty often, does well. It is nice to have the gauges to indicate when I should shift, when the EGTs get too high time to downshift.
Have you found a worthwhile driveshaft or carrier bearing to use? I have a 23 max that's had a driveline rattle from 25-39mph since new. Currently at 2800 miles. Almost seems like a phasing issue.
@@BarskiX I have not installed anything except the factory one. I bet by now there are some aftermarket ones available, the factory one has no set screw to hole the inner race of the bearing to the driveshaft and no way to add grease.
Why not replace the rivets with rounded head screws?

It should be part of your hourly rate if a machine is as filthy as this $
