I've seen a truck get its domed peeled back and stuck under a bridge. It sounds like a train wreck. The driver was okay, he's truck and the bridge wasn't.

There's a bridge in North Carolina, dubbed 11foot8 and trucks hit it frequently, they even have a website for it and you can see all the trucks that get their cargo scalped. Recently as of 2019 the bridge has been thankfully raised, after like 70 years of scalping trucks.
