@@lordkroniid those are great options yeah, I wish the statscourge swords scaled better with int, I tried the gaius ash of war with this build but I didn't find it as useful as the claw for catching people with spells, but on the guts greetsword it would complement the moveset much better for sure

I have been messing with the new incant and some madness weapons but honestly, I really don't like the builds with madness atm. Midra's frenzy flame kind of sucks and Nanaya's torch is so broken its un-fun to use. I tried making a build with vyke's war spear but it ended up being so similar to my old madness builds that I decided it wasn't worth making a vid on

@@memaimu yeah I've ran into a few of the shotgun sleep dart builds, could be something interesting there with the needle or sword maybe il check it out

Indeed i used it yesterday and even in the odds situation you can managed to fight them toe to toe it’s kind of domain and range for 5 seconds you’re safe for being aggressive

@@lordkroniid lmao it hasn't been too bad I've had two builds after this video that I've tried that unfortunately didnt turn out too well so I'm just leaving them and moving on, might turn some of those duels into shorts. But yeah colosseum is full of spammer and annoying builds but I'm still having fun, should have a video out soon

@@burrzie8446 yeah idk what they were cooking, they seem to like to make cool magic themed weapons and then make then scale with dex or other unrelated stats. Tbf tho this setup isn't that bad in terms of damage

@@halloween3360 oh definitely, but it just sucks that in order to get more or the optimal damage for this weapon you'd have to go beyond the meta lvl for both invasions and arena duels. It ticks me off that cool weapons such as these are stunted by weird scalings

@@memaimu that's awesome to hear, most of it is done through coliseum because it's just vastly superior to going to a spot and using summons, the que times are really fast atm and builds a diverse, great time to hop on

@@halloween3360 I still need to go through all of the DLC in its entirety. Then, I'll start trying these builds out. I miss the old PVP spot. I used to come down the elevator posing to make grand entrances after summoning someone.

It's a little tougher to pilot so that makes it fun in that regard, but it's overall not as fun as using rykards rancor and free aiming blasphemous blades lava wave

Yeah I feel like its always an afterthought for fromsoft, still tho the actual game is more important so I understand prioritizing balancing the game pve over pvp

hell yeah I'm excited for the DLC, hopefully they really expand on the groundwork of all these different spell schools in the dlcs but I know they will do a good job

wish every element/ spell school had something similar to make their thematic builds more viable

Yeah sorry to disappoint 😞, I just don't feel it's big enough of a content updste to warrant me coming back it would just be me recycling old build ideas and I would rather wait for actual new content that I can experiment and play around with

@@halloween3360 the idea that you can have a 2 vs 2 with a friend on your side and longer fights with rounds sounded interesting to me as surprising someone with the same move won't work anymore after you killed him 3x with it in the first 30s of the round And being able to use summons seems kinda fun like have some archer behind you, choose the healing maid or just use mimic tear to make some weird shit like only Spam aoes or the golden beasts swords weapon art and just watch Or cosplay as Radahn knight and then summon those 2 radahn knights to then fight together with them xD No worries tho while I think the update is interesting I haven't tried it myself I'll wait until the rumoured story dlc is finally out and then make a new char to experience both

@@halloween3360 have fun ^^ I've just seen videos tho but with mimic alone I bet there's a lot of crazy stuff to do or with all the hero summons you can also cosplay to join them like black knife tiche, cleanrot knight, storm knight, fire monk, malenia or Renala / Ranni xD gonna have fun doing that once the story dlc is out

honestly as cool as it is that they added that (it was leaked like 7 months prior) I don't think its enough of a content update for me to come back you know what I mean? like I would do maybe 2 videos and it would just be recycled builds, I want actual new content to work with so I can make fresh new builds to display.

@@zflashzz dont worry I got high hopes for the DLC, im very excited, its more about the content on my channel, I want to keep it fresh and recycling builds for the coloseum doesn't really sound very appealing you know what I mean?

@@zflashzz at the end of the day the channel is really for you guys, I don't really care about making money from it so I don't wanna just pump out uninspired videos, I want to keep the identity I have and only release stuff I feel would actually be new and interesting to inspire people to have more fun in PVP and be less meta.
