【SARAH’S STORY】
Sarah’s father is a Kagura dancer. She has heard the music of the Kagurabue --Japanese Bamboo Flute-- since was in her mother's womb. Playing the Flute became second nature to her as a child. She was surrounded by music. As early as five years old she amazed the master flute players with her natural skill at producing notes on the flute just by watching them play. Playing the Shinobue and the Kagurabue is apparently her destiny. Her mother encouraged her to play violin, but she was only drawn to the flute. She played the Kagura drum and the metal flute when she was in elementary school publically. She plays the Kagurabue in Kagura festivals to accompany her father as he dances. She also played publically in competitions and received a number of awards.

【秋吉沙羅プロフィール】
広島出身。 神楽団員である父親の影響で5歳から神楽笛を、19歳から篠笛を独学で始める。苅屋形神楽団所属。15歳で入団以来、県内各地での神楽競演大会樂の部にて数々の賞を受ける。神楽だけにとどまらず他ジャンルとの共演も多数。篠笛をメインとしたバンドで自ら作曲した音楽を展開。ライブでは心に染みる音色とアニメ声のMCが好評。 2013年CD 「龍の目醒め」2015年「謡-UTAI-」2016年「Evolution」を全国リリース。
伊勢神宮公式HP曲、夏川りみや二階堂和美等のCDアルバム、角川映画「源氏物語～千年の謎」劇中音楽、「グランブルーファンタジー」「SEKIRO」「モンスターハンターライズ」をはじめゲームやアニメ音楽、舞台『刀剣乱舞』无伝 夕紅の士 -大坂夏の陣-など舞台音楽にも参加。ももいろクローバーZ桃神祭、T.M.Revolution武道館ライブ、新日本プロレス、Japan Expo in Paris他、ヨーロッパ、中東、アフリカ、アメリカなど海外での演奏も多数。また作曲家として楽曲提供を行うほか、2019年アメリカアリゾナ州で行われたComposer’s Choiceに参加。
2016年よりFM西東京「秋吉沙羅のGOOD NIGHT☆MONDAY」でパーソナリティを務める。2018年絵本「クーナと龍」出版。日本伝統芸能を背景に国内外で活動するアーティスト。 2019年「こと」から改名。
