The strategy behind the game is touching enemies without losing a life. You get x10 everytime. That gives you the red time device and an extra life. Also getting a bunch of I powerups instead of Ws increases the intensity of your firepower so you can get closer and get more points.

I just wanted to drop by to say thank you for putting LYX's, WY's & CJM's DOJWL videos runs on TH-cam (Though I do know they're on bilibili on ixix91's channel as well, which I do go to often, but still, the main point stands)! =D I studied those particular videos, along with the videos of several others, and it ended up helping me get a 2-ALL of DOJWL myself, and before the end of 2019 (I got it on Dec. 27th, 2019), to boot! =) I am very grateful to you for that, so, again, thank you, XnoZero! =D Do give LYX, WY & CJM my regards! =)

Hey, WY and XnoZero! I just wanted to drop by to say thank you for sharing this video up on TH-cam! It really helped a lot with finding out what to do in DOJBL, in terms of setting up my route, strategies, finding out a lot of good scoring techniques and all that good stuff. As I got further in on DOJBL, I began to really study WY's replay to figure out some scoring techniques and all. WY's DOJBL World Record replay was truly an excellent resource to study from! Really, thank you, WY, for being gracious enough to share this replay to all of us, and to XnoZero for producing this video and uploading it to TH-cam! XnoZero, seeing as you know WY and are friends, whenever you can, do tell WY that I said thanks for sharing his run with us all! It was very nice of him to do! It certainly helped me, and I now have a 2-ALL of DOJBL myself! =) Also, tell him I wish him the best in getting 3.7+ Billion in DOJBL (I'm really looking forward to seeing what such a run looks like) and in beating HFD's DOJWL World Record A-Exy score! If I heard correctly, he's working on those 2 things, so again, let him know that I wish him all the best! =D Now, thanks to you two and a number of others, as of January 29th, 2018, I, too, can now also say I have 2-ALL'd DOJBL! In-fact, I even have my own DOJBL 2-ALL video here as well! That video is in my channel, of course! =D
