Wow mine broke and scratched up everything and broke my clutch basket teeth. It’s not letting me shift into 3rd-5th as well so I’m wondering if something else is going on. The gear selector is touching the 3rd gear groove rather then being in position to move it over.

A little late I know, bur its called a centrifugal oil filter, they are around 15 ish bucks. But if it broke any like mine I would give it a GOOD clean over because it left microscopic metal shavings in my engine.
This might be the issue I'm having! Do you have a video that has the noise in it? I was told by another owner the gas tank tabs cause the issue, I found a bent tab, fixed it, but the noise remains. My video "Hawk 250 Review" has an example at 7min 8sec. If you can confirm this is the same noise that'd be legendary.
