I’m getting ready to do this on my 77, after you painted the hood blue, did you sand the blue paint down before painting the white stripes. Did you put any primer? How did the white paint cover the blue, how many coats did you have to do. I want white stripes over black hood and I’m worry that the white won’t cover the black well

Gonna try a new head unit in my elantra. Currently got no audio, the unit just cycles through all radio frequencies so im hoping its a head unit and a new one fixes the issue

Doesn't the bottom of your can say "This side up for Charging"? Ie aren't you holding it upside down?

Were you able to install the backup camera? I installed mine but it’s upside down and I don’t see any settings to rotate the camera

I had the same issue on a 2007. The left rear door open. I replaced the door latch assy from a junk yard and it fixed the problem. However, I took the latch assy apart to see if I could locate said sensor. It appears that there is no sensor but an electrical switch that is activated by a plastic lever when the door is closed.

I have one of these cars and I found out with the upper radiator hose you're better off manufacturers clamp especially where it hooks up to the radiator because what band clamps they tend I like to leak around 30 °

The only problem I've run into with my 2110 Escape hybrid (245,000 miles) has been the steering column (the power steering is electric. It was my taxi so half highway and half city for 210,000 miles in 4 1/2 years and the rest as my personal, 10 or 20 miles a day. Great car.

I don't know why, but many former taxis are bullet proof. My friend bought a 2014 Mercedes E350 Estate, with 370k kilometers, outside a few worn items, the car is rust free, drivetrain like a tank, rides better than my sedan model E350. And his engine and trans have never seen major repairs, just normal service. The repair Shop I retired from, serviced Impala police vehicles for three cities, all were tough, just minor repairs, rarely anything major. I would take an ex service vehicle over any, they pretty much are taken off the road till regular maintenance is completed. At least that was my experience.
