Have you guys seen where tafter loading the CIMC screen the keyboard stops working? I can't scroll uo/down so I'm not able to resert the password.
Does the KVM adapter cable come with the server?
15 on ebay
Thanks man!
Thanks a lot for the video. I have ucs m220 server in my firm. It has been configured before now. The light is showing amber. If I press the power button,it won't change to green . So I have been trying to access the management port using an ip address cos the port is blinking. I can't remember the ip address .I have used ip scan to scan but to no avail. Is there any other option ? Am looking for the console cable
Should there be a physical link connected to switch? I've tried this but can't access cmic.
I have done the cimc config. And also configure the RAID1 via BIOS. After this can any one tell how can I access the server?
whats is the url in the navigator?
Very Useful. Thanks for uploading.
can i easily change the default admin password by adding a new password to the default user option?
in order to get in to the CIMC configuration, do you need to have the cisco dongle mentioned at the beginning of the video? I am asking because i have hooked up the crash cart and keyboard and i am only getting a blank screen when trying to access either the BIOS or CIMC configuation utility.
Is there a default password for the CIMC? Just got a new C240 box and it's asking for the current and then new CIMC password. I just took this unit out of the box and don't have anything in the documentation that came with the C240 with that information. Just curious if someone new off hand...
Excellent Video
