Im no rich but long ago many Richie rich families live in Iloilo City. 1920's po many of our houses were like American /Spanish style even my own late parents and relatives but sad thing is they were not taken cared and preserved except for these concrete ones and those that can afford to renovate it. Amazing churches of Iloilo province. In our town is made of red bricks. It was heavily damage during WW2. It was situated in an elevated area & I think it was an ideal place for the Americans to use.

UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You always take a long trip from your province to visit Panay Island. You are from Ilocos right?

Their church is beautiful. Town near the city proper. The first gold course in the entire country is situated in this town.

The sunset is magnificent at the Esplanade #4 water-edge steps (4:28), but is also becoming popular at the SUNSET BOULEVARD nearby Although the Sunset Boulevard is still unfinished, it has already become a new popular sunset-watching venue. Revellers start to come here at past 4 pm, bring out their food and spread their picnic tables and chairs, and wait to witness the spectacular rays of the sun, and stay until the solar lights are on and the stars have appeared. So nice!.

SANTA BARBARA looks like one of those remote villages like those in Zaragoza or Santiago de Compostela or Navarra. It must be remembered that tgis church was where the first Presidential Independence Day and Malacañang Vin d'Honneur celebrations outside Luzon were held here ar the Santa Barbara Church on June12, 2015, to celebrate the Philippines' 117th Independence Anniversary, with the foreign ambassadors ang government officials and President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino II in attendance.
