Honestly the more i think about it, this feels more like an advertisement than a review. Did you get paid for it?

I don't know. They say they're fans of classical RPGs but it's nowhere near classical. It's closer to modern games like Candy Crush and Diablo Immortal than it's to Sacred or Dungeon Siege. They use the same psychological trickery to keep you playing even if you don't want to anymore, like re-occuring timed events with high rewards, daily rewards and pvp competition where you can buy yourself to the top with real money and leaderboards full of botters. Even the backstory is very, let's say not deep. The one reason i haven't uninstalled it yet is because while you can buy your way up, you can also achieve everything within a not completely unreasonable time, at least it seems like that so far. Maybe it's a different story once you reach the top 10%, we'll see. The thing is, it might still be fun if you're able to resist the psychological trickery and manage to only ever play for fun and never ever log in just for a reward. I'm definitely not strong enough and i'm already foreseeing myself uninstalling it in the future which is quite sad since i quite like some of the mechanics.

I play eternium on my Chromebook which gives me full screen so its like playing a normal RPG game, I couldn't ask for a better game!

It is a very good rpg game. The only thing I don't like about it is the voice acting, like the character says "Aye aye." or "Treasure, over there!" or something like that. Very annoying. Maybe it's just me, but I used to play this game with voice samples turned off in the option menu.

I got the game on Steam today for under 1 Euro. I think the price is mean, there is so much work involved and platforms like Steam etc. then simply sell this game for cents. I don't think that's right, so I'll see if I can donate a few more euros to the developer.

This is pretty surface level stuff...What I got from it was "there are different stances so combat is varied/strategic", ok but how? "there is a skill tree with passives, this is a standout feature and you can play a mage/tank"...No more details? "Endgame is bad" This is one of the more important points of your review but you don't mention anything about why you think this?

Aww damn, I was hoping this game was more-so a 3rd-person (fully 3D) Project Zomboid. The arcade mechanics/logic makes it not for me personally, but I am glad that the solo developer is building a solid community & actively working on development alongside them.

This game remind me of Rumble's "kingsroad" 😇 Best ARPG I've ever played.

I've been a wolcen supporter since it was called umbra.. yes it's still got some bugs, and it still needs some polish, but honestly there's not another ARPG around that can compare with wolcens combat. Last Epoch is a close second. POE, D4 the skil bar is full of buffs/ shields, and you're spamming one maaaaybe two skills. In wolcen I get to use 5 skills in almost every encounter, ather jump into or out of a area, then Dodge roll to a new location and blast away. Wolcen doesn't get credit for it's skills and combat at all.

These type of videos should be illegal and your channel should be demonetized and shut down. This is obviously a paid video while it presents itself as an unbiased 6 minute video review, and the only non-positive thing you had to say about the game is that the enemy variation is "not of the highest level" followed by a clarification that there are a decent amount of enemies. All this with some cringe hype music in the background and comical phrases like "The more you play the game, the more you will eventually level up, this will upgrade your attributes, turning your character into a fcking monster" or "enemies to defeat and become the ultimate Eternium player". Then at the end, you go on for minutes praising and describing the developers and explaining their other games. I would be fcking ashamed of such a video, and you should be too. Disgrace.

the game is ok the devs are fixing stuff and we even got a 300% xp buff and new boss, you guys should give it a try again
