I have the fix for this. Take off the back cover of the seat that has the error. In my case it was the driver’s seat. Look inside you will see metal cables, these will connect to the side of the seat with white tabs “eye bolts” Look on the left and right side of the seat. You should see one or more of those tabs broken. If you can replace the tabs cool. I placed a piece of wood in that area to keep the seat back from moving too far to trip the error message. What was the initial problem. To check if it is the same problem as mine? I have an Altea XL 1.4 petrol and in the morning it fails to start at turn key... only after 3 or 4 tries. Probably the same problem.

Good job! if it was up to me, I wouldn’t allow Volvo to sell any cars in USA… It’s a hell of a deal to service them, especially the software installation and configuration…

Good job finding that high voltage wire mark… the spark plug was good, though … and one more thing - never drop a spark plug in, always use the special socket - less risk of failed spark plug… I never drop a spark plug, works for me…

So I have a 20118 Transit Custom and AC packed up about a month ago just as things warmed up, it was intermittent to start then stopped so had a free gas check done which was all good so looked on internet and checked all relevant relays and fuses for continuity and all appeared good also. I was loosing hope until I watched this video and decided to check the F23 fuse whilst engine and AC were on which I hadn't done before and when I pressed the probes of my multi meter down on either side of the fuse there was a click and the engine revs dropped indicating the AC compressor had kicked in. So when I looked closer I could see one of the terminals of the fuse was arching. Tweaked the terminal in the fuse box and sprayed with WD40 and AC up and running so thanks for the Video. Same van died on me 3 months back ! engine stopped dead lost steering brakes ETC luckily had just left home in 30 mph zone if on motorway could have killed myself others ! cost me over £700 to have it diagnosed as a faulty electrical connection in fuse box. Id heard Transits had a bad rep for electrics but surely this is Russian Roulette with peoples lives. Anyway thanks again.
