Phil Elverum's most recent work featured as the last song on the collaborative album 'COLORS'. Yet to be uploaded to Spotify so I thought I'd share it here Lyrics: Trying to see from in this room where it is blinding Learning to breathe beneath the surface Of all the wrecked up things I haul with me around I heard singing at twilight Trailed by belongings, I crawled forward Into a clearing at d...
why didn't anyone tell me about this
this version will always be the best one
Heard the full album today, wow
@@nolioli19 how 🙀🙀🙀
@ Phil held a free listening party on band camp today. It’s amazing!
this was one of the best

Yet another fennot classic!
@@lemice7295 my number one fan <3
Holy SHIT this is good, track #2 cannot wait for the new album.
you know a bass line is killer when it literally IS the chorus
I’ve ascended into the clouds.
the instrumental gives off HUGE Silent Hill vibes, Jesus.
anyone know where I can get this track? seems to be scrubbed off bandcamp?
soulseek
What a banger
Just saw him preform this live and it was so good. It's even better in person! Thanks for the upload.
I did not know this existed! The project on bandcamp as a whole is a fun listen and also has tracks from Karl Blau and Julie Doiron.
Crying, shitting, farting, cumming, sobbing, literally exploding, mash potatoes, uuuhhhh turning into paste
yeah!
Song just keeps getting better and better the more times I listen.
Jesus how does he always do it
Easily and instantly one of my favourites by him! I'm trying to find this COLORS album but I can't seem to find anything about it. Do you have any more details?
its great! yeah it should be under 7.e.p on Bandcamp, I don't think its on the mount eerie page
I love the thrashing energy repeatedly upheaving in the background. Phil's lyrics are always starkly elemental and that's why they're so powerful. ❤🔥
God it's soooo good...
lily you are the only person i know that i think understands phil elverum in a similar way to myself. your essays have inspired me so much. thank you.
@@radioaverageash thank you, that’s so kind 😌
holy shit lily likes phil! just saw him play this song live, it really is so good.
I play it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again
Another banger from Phil
2023 on a great start
fs, i really hope we see some more new stuff this year
@@fennot he’s recording!!
@@barkdog i heard! he said he's experimenting with noise stuff a while back
@@barkdog there are some demo tracks on the paid version of his blog, right? does anyone know how it sounds?
@@InsulindianPhasmid2214 he put up some rly short rare tracks from 2005? huge fire and a demo called "big wind drums" and basically sounds like a instrumental mostly drums/purcussion based version of this, very slow and rly interesting. "I just remembered that in like 1998 my friend, the artist Justyn Pogue, wrote the phrase “like a wind blowing through a bass drum orchard”, and the imagined sound has stuck with me since. Maybe is this that sound?"
Such a banger
song of the year and we're only 3 days in
