Rick Bisson Podcast #48: Thinking in Decades with Benjamin Bisson
As we edge closer to the end of 2024, Rick and Benjamin take the time to pause, reflect, and prepare for the opportunities and challenges of the year ahead. They explore the wisdom behind goal setting, inspired by the themes in Akira the Don’s song, A Calm Mind, A Fit Body, and A House Full of Love. Rick poses big pictures like, “What crossroads are you at today?” and “What is the gift you currently hold in exile?” Rick discusses thinking in decades and how visualizing the long-term can help you focus on what’s most meaningful and create a roadmap for your future self. Benjamin shares that fear can hold us back or propel us forward, depending on how we use it and encourages listeners to ponder the things they’re been avoiding or postponing. Be sure to listen to the full episode to reflect on these thought-provoking questions and many more.
.
We’d love to hear your thoughts-what are your big goals for 2025? How can we support or inspire you? Send us your feedback, ideas, or even questions for a future Q&A episode.

Hello, Your uploaded videos are awesome. Very nice video on your channel, I really enjoyed it. The videos you create for your TH-cam channel are very important to growing your business. I analyzed the videos of your channel and saw that the views of your videos are very low. You must have put a lot of effort into making the videos. You are giving so many videos but the views are not getting. Do you know the reason?

That’s an interesting point. The tobacco and alcohol industries do have a lot of similarities as covered in the full episode, they also have their differences. It will be very interesting to see how it pans out. Thanks for commenting!

Great interview with Coach Coffin. There is a lot of good "free chicken" in the discussion. The "grit" I learned wrestling during my junior and senior years stayed with me. I only won one match my senior year (I started growing after high school) but that one match was against a Rumford wrestler. "Grit" kept me in the match and I won 3-2. I appreciate the discussion around Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning", a book , which as a combat veteran, with it's focus on that belief that we can "survive any what with a why", I have read many times along with The Odyssey. Great stuff!!
