How long does it take light to travel from the sun to earth
มุมมอง 209วันที่ผ่านมา
#earthandsundistance Light from the Sun takes about 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach Earth due to the vast distance between the two, which is roughly 149.6 million kilometers. This delay, called the "light travel time," means that we always see the Sun as it was over 8 minutes ago. Despite light’s immense speed, the scale of space distances makes such delays inevitable, offering a glimpse into...

how much does a gallon of milk weigh
มุมมอง 2365 หลายเดือนก่อน
#milkweight A gallon of milk weighs approximately 8.6 pounds. This is because milk is slightly denser than water. While a gallon of water weighs about 8.34 pounds, the additional fat, proteins, and other solids in milk make it a bit heavier. The exact weight can vary slightly depending on the type of milk (whole, skim, etc.), but 8.6 pounds is a good average. So, if you pick up a gallon of milk...

So has some evil force blocked the 10 more DNA that we are meant to have⁉️ IS IT the medications, lead, water, food, chemicals, micro-waves, chemical trails in the air, blocking our progress of using our DNA MEMORIES and learning skills. I say “A BIG FAT YES!”
Bog iron 10,000 BC Ireland. I bet none of the fools know what bog iron is.
No need to be rude buddy we're all just trying to learn more about the world it's impossible to know EVERYTHING, I commend anyone that took there time to look this up.
You are wrong. Copper was discovered first because it is eye catching colour.
It's meteoric iron. But I would bet gold was first.
@@ghz24 It is actually copper because when it oxidises it’s a vivid blue. Plus it’s much more abundant than gold.
@@David-on1mr I don't think we can tell which metal was discovered first. No doubt copper was the first metal used for tools but both gold and copper are found in elemental form so requires no process to purify and nothing more than hitting it to discover it's malleable properties. Gold's color and shiny luster would have attracted humans attention even more than green of copper. Even mercury could be argued for, cinnabar is reduced to mercury under very low fire temperatures of 300 C (572 F) Less than a pizza oven. In point of fact finding mercury after firing cinnabar glazed pottery could have been the impetus for mixing stone and charcoal to discover smelting in the first place. What evidence would this leave? For one mercury traces in human neolithic bones which we have found. Cinnabar lightly heated in a pottery cup would readily produce mercury. Evidence of heat treatment of ochre to change yellow to red have been found at least as early as the middle stone age. So heating pigments was not a new process. I know the archeology finds say copper was the first metal "worked" by humans but worked isn't really the same as discovered. And if they did discover mercury first what use is it to them? Why would this process be widely disseminated? Dispite my argument for finding mercury being an impetus for smelting it is just as likely noticing the blue green oxide surounding rare native elemental copper that led to burning pretty blue rocks. But we don't know. All this is AFAWK or more precisely as far as we have found evidence. In short we don't know what led to smelting copper it could have been from a number of previous procedures. They had thousands of years of using fire and rock to stumble upon useful processes and only word of mouth to disseminate knowledge. Just some things to think about.
Ok❤
