How To Repurpose Content - NotebookLM 📝 Effortless Social Media Posts
Hi Friends, my name is Callum aka wanderloots. In this video, I walk through how to use NotebookLM to repurpose existing or new content into Social Media Posts. You can build an AI Social Media Generator that maintains your own Voice & Style to improve quality while aligning with your authenticity.
This video walks through a few use cases, including repurposing videos & writing for: Instagram, X (Twitter), TH-cam Shorts, & any other social media platform. I also explain how to extract exact quotes & build out short video scripts.
NotebookLM is Google's FREE & PRIVATE* artificial intelligence research assistant that has changed the way I use my notes & consume information.
NotebookLM lets me work with my notes & knowledge by speeding up my ability to extract insights from long-form sources (PDFs, TH-cam videos, podcasts, voice notes, meeting recordings, markdown and more).
I have an intro video (th-cam.com/video/42zewdrCrOc/w-d-xo.html) that walks through how to use NotebookLM in much more depth, including example use cases & scenarios.
With a context window of 150,000,000 tokens (100 sources), NotebookLM helps me work with more information than any other AI tool, including ChatGPT.
I hope you find it as helpful as I do! ✨
P.S. I greatly appreciate any feedback, please let me know what you think in the comments 😊

Digital Identity & Personal Brand 🎟️ Your Ticket To The Creator Economy 🎨📚
Seems to be the evolution of Zettelkasten. The original system was analog, but now with digital technology we have the power of data manipulation. For instance, the other day the guy behind InfraNodus plugin commented in his webinar that Zettelkasten was "extreme" and not for him. Which is fine. Zettelkasten is simply a suggestion, a possible framework... as long as your system works for YOU, it is valid! Some people like messy bedrooms and cluttered desks, for others it drives them crazy! And where is the law that states you can only have ONE Zettelkasten? Setting up different approaches on different computers or such increases the chances of new insights!
hi, what is the theme you use in your demo? Looks nice.
Hi! It’s the Atom Theme 😊
Any ways to have more control? Over the narrative, hosts, and transcript?
How are you able to share a chat with your youtube users with the limitations on sharing.
Tbd! Still need to wait for NotebookLM Plus for consumers to come out before I can test it. Are you referring to the 50 user limitation? If so, I can limit access to a certain tier, make it first come first serve, etc. depending on what the notebook is enabling
Solid content you got here man. Subscribed.
Thank you! 😊 appreciate it a lot. What did you find the most interesting?

thanks! glad you liked it
This is really helpful. Thank you for providing a framework <3
My pleasure! Happy to be of help 🫡 what was it about the framework that resonated? Curious to hear your thoughts :)
Fantastic
Thank you 😊 glad you found it helpful! Was there anything in particular that resonated?
I have a feeling this channel is going to grow and crush over the next year or so. Looking forward to following along.
Thanks Matt! Really appreciate you saying that 😊 made my day haha What gives you that feeling?
@@Wanderloots - I spend way too much time on YT and you're covering hot topics in a professional manner. It's just all going to click. 👌
@@mlegrand So glad you appreciate it! That's very much the vibe I'm going for. I have the same feeling ✨It's going to be a good year! No pressure at all, but if you're curious about why I'm doing YT, I have an intro video on my channel that goes through more of the story of quitting as a lawyer to do this; you might find it interesting
This was a great walkthrough.
Thank you! So glad you found it helpful 😊 was there anything in particular you liked?
Also, I love your content!
Thanks 😊 appreciate it a lot! Did you end up getting your digital garden published? I think you asked about it a few months ago
@Wanderloots I have not yet! I want to automate it so it automatically creates the note when I post a new video. I am glad you remembered that comment!
@@IversusAI haha your pfp was very memorable! stands out amongst all of the the letters & brands. Re: the garden, that's completely fair! Though, in my experience, there are some things that are worth not getting to full automation. E.g., if you have a template in obsidian set up with an embed code for TH-cam videos, all you have to do is click new note + TH-cam template --> change the link, click publish. The whole process would likely take you 30 seconds to do each video you post. Just a thought :)
One important tip: when asking a LLM to generate a tweet, never say Tweet or Twitter. Those words HEAVILY bias the model to what it thinks a tweet is, which is formulaic. I covered this in a video on my channel called How to Make ChatGPT Write Like You Sound
Thanks for letting me know! Does it still maintain the bias after you’ve interested other source material and “fine tuned” the style and voice parameters via chat? Curious what you mean by it biases towards formulaic output? As in, particular style, or more a particular length?
@@Wanderloots The bias does remain, yes. The bias is towards the style, I saw it your video when you first ran the prompt, the emojis and hashtags and tone.
@@IversusAI right! on the first iteration, but how did it seem after I recalibrated the style to be more "authentic"? I think a formulaic first draft is not a bad thing, because it gives us something to work with, but it's important to take it to the next level by adding proper personalization & humanization
@Wanderloots I think we need to visit and connect and I can share more. Will message you on Reddit, I know you are a regular there, like me.
Hey, big big thanks to your videos. I really like the content and how you explain the use of Obsidian. Waiting for more ❤
Thanks Marc! Appreciate you saying that 😊 Is there anything in particular you're looking to learn more about? Any feedback is helpful for prioritizing new videos 🫡
Thanks for your video! First day on Obsidian, trying to create a literature review for my PhD. I am struggling with 10:00 I open the side panel but I do not get a list of linked mentioned, just a different type of window with the index. And if I activate Mermaid plugin, i get graphic tools. But no 'linked mentioned' from side panel. Am I doing something wrong?
Awesome! Glad to hear you're trying it out 😊hmm, do you see that there are different buttons you can click along the top of the side panel? One of them is an index (outline) based on the headings, but another looks like a link with a back arrow or a fore arrow. Also, if your note doesn't have any connections (bi-directional links) to it, you might not see anything in that tab. What happens if you try creating another note and linking back to the first note? As an alternative, you can also go into settings (left panel --> settings gear icon), click on "core plugins" and turn on BACKLINKS. This will display your linked mentions at the bottom of your page automatically. Let me know if any of that works, if not, happy to answer more questions :)
Thanks a lot for your exhaustive reply! Yes I managed to do it through the core plugins backlinks, it turned out that I just had to keep watching the video :) but it is not like in yours, vertical on the right. I have it below my main note, separated by a line i cannot move. At least it is something ^^ I found one of these videos among the most useful, it provides a quick introduction to all the features. Templates and canvas are amazing! Could I ask you a couple of follow up questions? I am trying reordering my literature review with Obsidian, after I divided into folders with Zotero. I think it was a mistake, because folders structure (Intro, lit review, methodology, and subsections) it is not what Obsidian is meant for. Nevertheless, I am trying to get the main concepts in notes, so they appear in graphic map, and I want each paper to be separated note so it can appear in the graphic map connected as mind map (so for example, all 'diplomacy' together', all 'military exercises' together, etc). It is my understanding that I should create them in form of notes, and then putting a markdown or a tag in the notes to have them connected? And how could I change the colors of the dots in the graphic map? I tried with a color plugin but it only changes the color of the writing on the left, in the list of folders. Another thing I am looking for is to make my literature review and the papers I am reading look in order, with main information such as 'relevant key points' or 'research gaps easily accessible to compare multiple of them on one page. I have seen a video where they made a connection between Zotero collections and Notions through the use of API keys and advanced database. In this database, not only you can insert these data, but you can also tap on the cells to open a template for each doc to insert your notes. I checked for something similar on Obsidian, but I noticed that the table section gives only rows and columns. Is there a way to create a database, or would you recommend to use excel or similar program, and then import the chart into Obsidian? I have the feeling I am not competend enough to use this program proficiently, and maybe I am trying to use it in the wrong way too. Thanks a lot for your time and attention!
@@Wanderloots I forgot to add something: after I followed the tutorial and I made 2 templates for note taking, and 1 daily notes, these three elements appeared in the graphic chart, but I do not want them, I only want the main concepts to stay there. Should I create templates like something else, so they do not appear as notes and they would not be in the graphic chart? sorry for asking you these many questions :(
get to the point please
Hi, really love your videos. You breakdown content into easy to understand bites. I posted a similar comment on a previous video, but thought this might be a relevevantv soace as well. I am looking for help with sharing Notebooks. I can't seem to share notebooks with clients outside my organization (Google Workspace account), even with NotebookLM Plus. I'm really interested in using NotebookLM to help clients organize data and information. I thought there was a share feature, that allowed me to share chat only notebooks with other people, outside of my Google workspace organization, but I can't seem to share them with anyone. I've tried both paid and free accounts. The paid (NotebookLM Plus) only allows me to share with my Google Workspace members. The free version allows me to select other people to share with, but the share invitations never get sent. NotebookLM is probably the most functional real world AI, but I need to find out how to share Notebook chats and chat agents with other people... Outside of my Google organization. I've contacted Google Workspace support and they directed me to sign up for the right version of Gemini for NotebookLM Plus, but couldn't help me with NotebookLM itself. I remember you mentioning in the video that NLM Plus allows additional sharing, but I can't seem to get the sharing to work. Looking for help to find how to share my Notebooks so other people (outside of my Google organization) can access and use them. Love your videos, but had a question I was hoping you could help with, i can't seem to share notebooks with clients outside my organization, even with NotebookLM Plus. @@Wanderloots If your goal was to add value for your viewers, you hit the mark. Thorough, hype-free, enough detail but not too much detail. I also appreciated that you didn't focus solely on the flash (i.e., the podcast feature) but shared some really helpful and novel use cases for the tool.
@@ManleyWalker Thanks for sharing! Really appreciate the feedback 😊I think there are so many great use cases for AI, but people often get caught up in the flash, so I'm trying to go deeper where I can! Let me know if there's every anything you're looking for a video about :)
It's a good info to have on mind for this fershly new year.
I’m glad to hear it! 😊 what are you planning on using it for?
@@Wanderloots I'm trying to start a YT channel, but also for personal projects; surely it'll make my learning-teaching process more efficient than before, that's the main goal 😄

Btw I have heard about the zettelkasten system and it really made me interested especially the graph view in obsidian, i transferred my notes from Google keep (about 300 notes) but it was just too much to link all of them manually Do you think it is possible to somehow automate this process with help of ai
Nice! That’s awesome, I love using obsidian. I think it’s more about how knowledge is actually made. I made a video that explains more about zettelkasten that you might find helpful: What is Zettelkasten Note-Taking? 📝 Why It Works & Knowledge Theory 🧠 th-cam.com/video/00LKsV8h6zY/w-d-xo.html I think that, tbh, it’s a feature to have to manually go through and link, not a bug. Part of the system is processing your notes and making unique connections. That said, I’m sure there’s a plugin that replaces words with links across your vault, so you could effectively use topic notes to “tag” and produce autolinks by topics. My suggestion is to just start using it moving forward, and then update notes as you come across them again 😊 happy to answer any questions!
Does it do a good job of integrating content across sources?
As in, pulling from multiple sources to answer your questions/prompts? Yes! And the chat will give you citations showing you which parts were taking from which sources. Sometimes it will have 3-5 sources pulled per paragraph, synthesized in a way that answers your prompt. I’ve been impressed at the range, and you can always recalibrate your prompting to ensure a full range of answers
Great insight thanks
My pleasure! 😊 was there anything in particular you found the most insightful? Working on some more videos so I’m curious what resonates ✨
Excellent intro and practical use cases! Thank you! One shortcoming I find for myself with NotebookLM is that I can only download the podcasts OR a big file concatenation of all notes, rather than individual note... but heck ... its such a powerful application! Im only just learning to use it!
Thank you! So glad you found it helpful 😊 I know a lot of AI tools can get lost in the theory, so I was really focusing on practical applications. Hmm so you’re looking for an easy way to download a specific note? I use obsidian for my note taking, so I can just click the copy button in notebookLM, and then paste it as its own individual markdown note in obsidian. An added benefit is that markdown is one of the source input types for notebookLM, so it makes it easier to go back from obsidian into notebookLM. Have you tried obsidian? Or where are you wanting to put a copy of the note?
Regarding your audio recording difficulties mentioned at 3:16, have you tried Audio Hijack? It’s a long-time solution for audio on the Mac and should fix you right up on anything you want to do with audio. The makers of Audio Hijack also have a number of other programs that perform all kinds of audio magic on the Mac.
I haven't tried that! Thank you for the suggestion 😊 That would solve the issue with using the mic as both an input for recording audio in, e.g., adobe audition, and using the mic simultaneously as the input for NotebookLM?
They didn't mention adding notes as a source because it was already there before the update
I think they were testing it out beforehand with different groups, but it was released to everyone with the update? I know it took longer for me to get the new feature in Canada 🤷♂️ Either way, I was surprised it didn’t get brought up more, since I think it’s a really valuable way to help introduce style & templates
I hope you find these updates as helpful as I do! Especially the one that Google didn't include in their list for some reason. @@Wanderloots yes, the full coverage of the functionality of NobookLLM, the examples and the potential use cases. Honestly, it is worth rewatching (a few times) to brainstorm on how I (or anyone) could really apply it for ideas I have. the potential is enormous. @@Wanderloots Well I've been using it since two months and I found it great, especially while I'm studying IT and I need to search between a larg amount of literature and textbooks, so it become really helpful to use something like this great tool. Also, in terms of mathmatical notation, I used to write every thing on paper coz it's hard to write them using keyboard. Now I'm able to copy my notes directly into obsidian (which by the way I'm watching your vidoes about it and you did a great job, but it's still confusing me 😅) For NotebookLM, I think they need to add more features, such as organizing notes and enhance the creativity of the model and I hope they will do that.
@@aqeelsapeeh Glad to hear how helpful it's been! I use it all the time too, makes research so much easier. Completely agree that they could update in a few helpful ways. My guess is that they were testing its popularity, and with the massive success they've had, they're building it more into their core features (especially since they can monetize it now with NotebookLM plus, which will, in theory, give more funding to the team building it). Re: obsidian, happy to answer any questions on things you find confusing! I know it can be a lot to get started, but you can also start as simply as possible and build out as you need to, rather than trying to have the "perfect system" up front. Thank you so much for this wonderfully explained video! I am in no way a tech girlie but I love working with Obsidian so much. One question: I don't want my digital garden being completely public (I am working on medical stuff and only want it be accessed by medical personal). Is there a way of restricting access by making log-ins? So that people first let me know that they are medical personel and are granted access afterwards? I am really searching for an easy way to simply use my already made markdown files from my Obsidian vault.
I'm so glad to hear how much you're enjoying obsidian! It makes such a big difference in my life, I'm happy it does for you too. Yes! There are definitely ways of limiting access to your published site. One note before I give a suggestion: medical information has a higher level of confidentiality & privacy requirements, so I would be sure your system works before uploading any data that might be sensitive. If you published your site via Netlify (like I did), they have built in credential systems you can add! Here's a link explaining more: docs.netlify.com/security/secure-access-to-sites/identity/ Netlify also has a bot where you can ask questions: docs.netlify.com/ask-netlify/ When I asked about limiting access, it gave me ~5 suggestions, so I recommend asking yourself and seeing which options seems the best for your situation 🫡 If you activate identity/logins, please let me know! Would love to hear how it works 😊
@Wanderloots thank you so so much for this answer! I will sit down in the next few days and play around. As soon as I can report back I will. This video sits in a playlist for a reason. And I will watch it many times more😉 It will not contain personal medical information so I am not so anxious about that. But I want to restrict the access as the information is in no way written for the layman to understand. I just don't want people to self-diagnose and self-medicate🙈 this is what I am most concerned about.
Where businesses grow, AI leads the way 💫
Is it fair to say that you don't use Index Notes, and rather include tagging/topics and let the graphs & searching accomplish the same thing? Brilliant. That seems way less structured and much more flow-like. Would it also be fair to say that perhaps one's reliance on Index Notes might be a hold-over one's old approach using over-structured categorization? Thx!
Thank you! I would say that I do a bit of both. I let the natural organization emerge in a flow-like format with topic notes, adding structure via a specific list of tags. That way, my vault gets organized from a file-management perspective, but from a browsing/discovery perspective, it's as fluid as can be. I talk more about tags vs topics and my organization in this video: th-cam.com/video/sZxYau21D20/w-d-xo.html You might find it helpful 🫡 I then use index notes as "maps of content" when a particular topic graph begins to get too large (or has too many sub-topics). The benefit of using a Topic Note is that I can convert the actual topic into an index itself, with a series of "jumping off" points for further exploration via graph. That's also what I explain more in the video above ✨
This was helpful! How do you deal with all the #ideas in your daily notes to make them actionable though? At the end of the day do you remove the ideas hashtags? Just curious how that would work in terms of organizing later on since clicking on the tag would just bring up all the daily notes with the ideas hashtags in them.
Glad to hear it 😊 I have a few ways to action them! 1) I search for a keyword within #idea to see which notes have the idea related to what I am looking for. 2) I convert or copy the #idea information into its own note, leaving a link in its place. That way, the idea migrates to its own "atomic note", but the daily note that contained the idea keeps the linked note and I can refind my train of thought of that particular day. 3) I also use indexes with the #idea, which I talk about more in this video on automatic inboxing & indexing: th-cam.com/video/-5IcgqlwYMA/w-d-xo.html . With these indexes, I can sort by date last modified, which means my most recent ideas bump to the top of the index (via dataview) Hope that helps! Happy to bounce ideas ✨
I am curious. I was about to start studying this year for a big exam for a cert in my career. Should that be an entirely separate obsidian vault or are these intended to be one massing vault for all knowledge regardless of category or theme?
Up to you! My preference is to have everything in one vault. Then I use tags & topics to organize my notes for various purposes. E.g., could have zettelkasten be its own folder that gets automatically organized by tags, and use topic notes to add categories/themes. Then you could have a separate folder with a tag for your course, but all within the same vault, almost like a “project” tag so you can find everything easily. I recommend checking out this video on tags v topics: th-cam.com/video/sZxYau21D20/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yny6qMLvKW04WgDg And this one on automatic inboxes and indexes: th-cam.com/video/-5IcgqlwYMA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-C4t31kEridqq5Vz Happy to answer more questions! Very good material about Zettelkasten. Thanks ! Another great source of this is the Bob Doto book, "A System For Writing". Your idea of Molecular Notes reminds me the Structure Note that Bob explains in his book. Again, thanks so much for both videos you produced about this subject.
Thank you! Appreciate you taking the time to watch them both and I'm glad they were helpful! 😊 Oh awesome! Thanks for the suggestion on "A system for writing" just added it to my list 🫡 Do you use a zettelkasten system yourself?
Wake up people, Wanderloots dropped a new video! :)
haha thanks James! 😊 working on the templated zip folder to share with you shortly 🫡 Did you find this one helped make Zettelkasten a bit more practical-seeming?
@@Wanderloots It's definitely helping me understand the system much more. It seems that I'm having a bit of friction breaking away from my old habits and adopting new note taking behaviour of Zettelkasten system. For example, in the original vault I had a folder called Quotes and I would just bring in all the quotes I resonated into one place. While I had some peace of mind that this is captured somewhere, I struggled with the emergence and leveraging those quotes. I realized that my current note taking is very one dimensional. I'm capturing a lot but never learned to connect them intentionally. But I'm hopeful that it'll get easier over time!
@@songsofhues Glad to hear it! I know what you mean re: shifting to a new system. I think, imo, the key is to not try and just shift everything at once, but add the features as you go. For example, you could take your full quote page and take some time to go through and find one that resonates with you. Then, Copy that text (or refactor it) into a new note, and embed that note in the same place in your full quote page. From a functional standpoint, your quotes are all still in one place, but you've now "atomized" that quote into it's own note. Do this for a few quotes that seem to have some common theme with them. E.g., the way I did with the compounding effect of Pareto & 1% better principles. Then, you can move onto the "molecular" stage, where you can make a new molecule that you can embed the 2-3 quotes you've atomized. Take a moment to reflect on why these particular quotes jumped out at you, and you might have some surprising insights. These insights can be noted in the molecule. Do this a few times, and you'll start to get the hang of the "extraction" of atoms and the interlinking of "molecules". I also find that having some kind of output in mind can be great for framing the context of why I'm using a system like Zettelkasten in the first place. For me, I have my newsletter, TH-cam videos, and my digital garden. Keeping the potential outputs in mind can help me frame the connections of topics, ideas, and insights, starting with the quote page. Hope that helps! Happy to keep bounding ideas. But I think you're right that it will get easier over time as you find a flow that works for you (keeping in mind this is just what works for me)
Information overload, solved... Metaphor overload, well it sounds like you haven't even started ... yet! Excellent vid. Excellent pull through of the concepts and workflow.

Glad you resonated, it's something that's been on my mind for a long time so I'm happy to finally have converted the thought into video
@@Wanderloots Part II later. But part I and it implementation. I am having to overlay this onto an existing note collection, in Obsidian, but one that has some legacy issues from 'older' note taking apps and systems... i.e. style of and use of tags for instance. But I now see more of where I want to go. Following, especially your "How I Automatically Organize My Obsidian Vault", it has helped. And a slight rebellion against your 'thinking inside the box', as I 'now' "think" not recognizing 'the box', as the barriers that imply are broken by the organic vault or local graphs. It isn't the bounded "Encyclopedia" all nicely arranged on the bookshelf. Keep up the good work.
@@timbushell8640 Awesome! Happy you're able to layer it into your existing system so effectively. Ahh yes, I think the key here is that the box is not actually a box (like in the physical system), but is, instead, an interconnected web of thoughts, ideas, and topics. The constraints are not physical, but structural, in the sense that there is a consistent system that forms the boundaries of what has been distilled into the zettelkasten system, without requiring rigid structure. It's actually amazing how much constraint can boost creativity. With no boundaries, ideas flow into the void. But with boundaries (rules, templates, organization principles), the ideas can flow to the place they are most likely to emerge again in connection to new information/knowledge. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on part ii!

What data integrity mechanisms are implemented to prevent tampering and bias?
Within Obsidian? It's a local folder of markdown files, so there is, by default, no way for tampering or bias to occur. Not sure if that's what you mean? You can also introduce backup systems using Git or alternatives to allow for a version control system, so you can rollback if anything happens.
@Wanderloots Haha, I meant to protect data from my own biases. Knowledge is power, and acquiring it significantly impacts decision-making and even shapes history, as seen with influential figures from the past I'm seeking a balanced worldview, ensuring my internal logic doesn't negatively influence others or create biases when shared. Success can be detrimental if it contaminates the data. There is a great book called the ego is the enemy that explains more about this concept To mitigate this, I'm considering Fabric, an open-source tool, to double-check my .md files. Specifically, its "extract_hidden_message" feature generates opposing viewpoints, promoting critical thinking.
@@samuelbaruch8790 Oh I see! Fabric sounds fascinating, thanks so much for sharing 🫡 Ego is the Enemy is on my list to read actually! Been working my way through the Daily Stoic book too. I also highly recommend "Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking" & "Thinking Fast and Slow" as two other sources that go into cognitive biases and ways to overcome them. I think that keeping careful track of the source material in your vault can also assist with recognizing bias, because you can always identify if a source has lost credibility and use it to quickly assess your vault. That's one of the key benefits of zettelkasten. Also, just released Part 2 if you're interested! th-cam.com/video/worpx0LOeII/w-d-xo.html
Is it feasible to develop a customized AI model leveraging carefully curated data from a personal knowledge system, considering contemporary AI's reliance on autocomplete-like functionality?
For sure! This possibility is what drew me to Obsidian in the first place, since I wanted my data structured using markdown since it is so interoperable with AI models. That said, a true custom model might be overkill/a lot of work, depending on what you're wanting to use it for. Instead, I foresee using your Obsidian vault, or a curated selection of it, to fine-tune an existing model. You could do this with a local model so there is no data privacy concerns. Alternatively, you could use a RAG system to query your Vault, fine-tuning the RAG with custom prompting & memory (e.g., like I talk about in my NotebookLM video: th-cam.com/video/42zewdrCrOc/w-d-xo.html Regarding the "autocomplete-like functionality", that tendency will vary depending on the model and the way you have set up your AI to access your Vault. By fine-tuning or introducing memory, you can customize the way the AI will interact with you, which, while still being "autocomplete" will at least be more "autocomplete for Samuel" Will be sharing more about these concepts in the coming weeks!
Thanks so much! These Videos and the way you explain really helps me getting everthing sorted Out and Help me getting started! The thing that keep me struggling the most is how you Take on notes about trivial Things. These Methods and Zettelkasten etc ist great and i get how powerfull they are for learning News Things, getting Intro complex Things and Help you create new ideas. But i also Just wanna Note thise 3 damn Linux command i keep looking Up or even the Name of my Barber, the Openingtimes of my janitors at my House.... That Kind of stuff
My pleasure! So glad you found it helpful 😊That's a great question! In my opinion, I consider trivial notes to be under the "fleeting note" category. They can be added to daily notes, new notes, or to source notes. The key is that they may never be converted (distilled) into permanent notes, since they don't actually fit into the proper Zettelkasten system with respect to trying to "learn" something. So I would say just create new notes as you feel like it! But, by keeping a focused structure for the zettelkasten part of your Vault, you can easily & automatically move your Zettelkasten notes into their respective folders so that, when the time comes, you can just click through the folder without seeing the trivial notes. I talk more about this automated inboxing & indexing in this video here: th-cam.com/video/-5IcgqlwYMA/w-d-xo.html Happy to answer more questions 🫡
@Wanderloots That really helps thank you so much!! I think the Key is to understand that the Zettelkasten is just a part of the notetaking, Not the while thing. @@torbenzeuge1031 Awesome! Glad I could help ✨That's exactly it! The physical Zettelkasten had many limitations, one of which being that you had to be incredibly careful with your slip-boxes.
