Could I give you some tips on your kip!? When you go for you glide try to get your feet up at the END of the glide! Also try to keep your legs straight and keep your head in when you try to pull up! Also it helps a lot if you used something to jump off of to do your kip,like a mounting block!!

I do gymnastics (btw I’m a L6) but if someone ever says that to me I get so offended. Cause like the beam it’s 4inches wide the and vault is hard cause you gotta make sure you block off your shoulders and bars.. that’s just the scariest event (so is beam, cause it's scary to do a back handspring on the high beam with only one that is literally like 5-6 inches tall

No offense but like you can’t get mad at people for saying that you play gymnastics if you’re also trying to say it’s a sport. Like people can play and do soccer, football, basketball and any sport on the face of the planet so why is the word play wrong if gymnastics is a sport?
it's already very controversial whether or not gymnastics is a sport (same goes for things like dance and cheer) because most people only see these sports as "easy" or "girly" or "dumb" when in reality they are very difficult and painful. when someone says "oh you play gymnastics?" it sounds like they are babying our sport and not taking us seriously, vs. when someone says "oh you do gymnastics?" or "oh you're a gymnast?" just sounds better and not belittling 🫶🏼
