Reverse case for me. Never played any Yakuza game but it’s been on my backlog since forever. Been living in japan for 9 months and I didn’t know it used real life locations. That makes me eager to play the games, I lived for 3 months in Tokyo and 6 in Osaka, and I feel at home in Kabukicho and Dotonbori especially.

When your there it feels like your in the game 🤯 first thing I did was going to the hostess club and looking at the system menu

I absolutely love Toradora. It and Kaguya Sama are my favorite romances. I just haven't finished Toradora yet because I'm not prepared for the last or 6 episodes because I know it's gonna make me bawl. The Episode with the Sumire fight is of my favorite episodes of Anime, up there with a couple Re Zero episodes and Sailor Moon episode 34/35

It's a cool idea. I like it when people have favorite anime that aren't the usual ones you see. My favorite anime is probably Welcome to the NHK so if I were to visit Japan, I'd probably go out of my way to visit some places from that show. I remember seeing a google doc where someone had compiled all of the locations in the anime that corresponded to the real life locations. It would be a fun pilgrimage for a show that really affected me.

I've always been captivated by the idea of parkour in Assassin's Creed. Almost just like you, I spent a long time rewatching Assassin's Creed 2 cinematic trailer which never gets old. I never got a PS3/360 so years later I got a laptop that can finally run AC2, and it was magical to me. Venice and Paris are the best map in the series period.
