Can anyone help on how to close one of the intake valve before pouring brake cleaner in? Also, does that mean that there will be only one valve open at the same time?

My car doesn't have the intake runner flaps but it has the same cylinder head as other models with intake runner flaps which means it also has the divider plates in the cylinder head. Would it be bad to just leave them out?

For me at least, Subaru EJ25 DOHC (JDM) with 230 HP would be the ultimate motor for a 550 Spyder variant. Also, I'd couple the motor with a Pro Drag transaxle instead of Pro Street version because the former is stronger and sturdier than the latter. The only problem is the tire size capacity of the Spyder without altering the given classic stance of the car. I'm not too sure if 185 up in the front and 195 in the back are sufficient enough to handle 230 HP regardless of the chosen gear ratio. Overall, this video is a good presentation of the cars. No injectors cleaning? No new spark plugs? You won't notice much difference. One day It might break the piston because of cylinder misfire. The carbon deposits weren't that bad. Get a professional injectors cleaning asap. You may add some cleaning stuff to your gas tank TODAY.

A nylon brush works good too. Won’t damage anything

Nice video. Having built many T1 and T4 performance engines (some for 356's Speedsters), I waited to the end of the video because I wasn't convinced that was 914/VW Type 4 engine. Very different. I prefer Type 4 engines. They were built for more torque and usable power vs the 1600 Type 1. Of course if you drive a 914 you would know what it feels like, especially with the 901 gear box. But in a kit car, the same engine would propel the 550 nicely.

I have bang and olufsen with Ami in glovebox . I’m only getting sound when I plug the aux in and aux together behind stereo or plug the aux out into ami. I hear people do it wireless . Why doesn’t mine work for this ?

89k 14 2.0 Tsi, I spray b12 chemtool with a garden sprayer for a few seconds in the intake where the pcv connects once a week when I get home, none of this maintenance required. Punch the gas pedal when you first start the next day to avoid stalling and having to clear engine codes.

Where is the on board computer? My very honest & experienced smog pro couldn't find it on my 1996 C2 coupe. A smog pro thought the '95 had no computer but in '96 they added a computer??? What year is yours?

I recently installed these lights and have one gripe with them. The turn signal and brake light are from the same lights (one is orange one is red). When you the orange turn signals are flashing and you apply the brakes, the brake lights wont come on. This would be hazardous if you have your hazards on. Essentially no brake lights except for the 3rd brake light on the windshield.

Update on the reverse light issue. Morimoto sent me an entire new set as we weren't sure what was happening. I installed the new set and to my surprise... same issue was happening. I randomly switched the plug on the center section to EU from USA (my car is a US car) and both worked. Unsure if the little labels (EU vs USA) were put in the wrong spots but everything works as it should and very happy! I sent them back the other set just to be sure but otherwise, very happy with the install and product quality. Hopefully, this will help others! Cheers

@BryanBoardwell --- not sure if you figured out the issue with your reverse light or not...but there is a circular connector that plugs into the center section of the tail light. There are 3 pins inside. Two of them are for the reverse lights (drivers and passengers side) and the third is the ground. Maybe the pin for the drivers side just isn't making contact?
