Can You Add SPS Corals Before Cycling Your Tank? My Experience!
In today's video, I’m sharing my friend's experience of adding SPS corals to his aquarium before it was fully cycled. It's a risky move that not many people recommend, but he wanted to test it out and see what happens. I’ll go over the pros and cons, potential risks, and how the corals reacted during the uncycled phase of my tank.

The question is, is he doing kalkwasser to increase ph, is that why the corals are doing so well? Because I have a shallow reef tank that’s gonna be sps dominated, and I have a Neptune apex controller with DOS to control kalkwasser dosing, with all that gadgets can I add acropora like him in this video?
Last I checked, they were dosing, calcium, and magnesium. The tank is also running the moonshine method.
I got a sample of this food at the show fish, and coral seems to respond well.
My favorite is the pink boobies chalice you showed at the beginning.
One of the fastest growing corals in that tank
Euphyllia garden is my fav! Torches all the way 🪸. A new fun one I haven’t seen too much is the “brain coral”!

I got a frag of a beautiful Cabbage coral was my favorite today!
Got a couple nice leather frags, a toadstool, and a couple Zoa’s. So far this morning they are all opening in my pico tank. Need to leave them alone so they acclimate but so difficult as I keep seeing better places for them
