nice work! is it possible to build the monitor in a way that only on usb c cable is needed for power + display?
Yes some new monitor models can use a power and signal board with only 1 USB C
The monitor is connected via a scaler. Choose a scaler with the functions you need and enjoy the result
Definitely a option I built one myself that gets display & power all from one usb c cable and they aren’t any more expensive imo

@@yourfriendpaulito monitors should not be divided into new and old, but by pinout. select a board with "video input type-c" support for pinout of your monitor

I am not a YTuber but had heard from other channels that if you place keywords from your video in a list on your description (so tgis video would have 12V, fan, Off-grid, DIY, DC fan, etc.) and also transcribe the first minute or so into the description as well, it can help with getting more hits when people are searching.
