Would be nice if they built an actual tutorial to show the installation of windows. The harvester side is easy enough, but trying to integrate windows into harvester requires the virtio download from RHEL to detect the hard disk because the VM template's docker file (vmdp) doesn't work. And even then there are difficulties getting the windows OS to install correctly as it wants to reboot in the middle of install only to move to the SeaBIOS screen and be told it cannot find the files (which is bogus because I uploaded the ISO that was downloaded from MS).

Hello, we have two HANA instances (Primary and Standby) with replication configured. These HANA Instances are placed in two different cities and in two different networks. We want to use "SAP HANA System Replication Scale-Up - Performance Optimized Scenario". Is this HANA cluster scenario supported for HANA instances placed in two different networks? Thank you.

This worked like a charm for cloudflare CA, thanks for sharing. But I found that, I need to modify my rancher helm yaml file to have private_ca true, apply and restart the deployment to make it working. Since I previously used let's encrypt, hence I modified it.

Sorry it is not so easy to add one more volume to a VM as you try to describe. Just try to add volume as ISO after the machine created. The web interface simply not allow to do it....

I wanted to try Rancher, but since their employee prefers to work on Mac OS, because SUSE probably sucks, it's a waste of time to use their solutions xD

PCI passthrough seems to now be supported through pcidevices-controller addon. Not tested.

Thanks for a good presentation. Is there any way to via Rancher let a user `foo` get pods in namespace `bar` across all clusters? Or does such a rule need to be added via Role and RoleBindings manually in each cluster?

Ok couple of things that should be added that are easy oversight here. 1. Used the patched 1.2 version if you are installing from a USB drive 2. Be sure that your BIOS has SVM or Virtualization enabled for your processor. Had to do a bios update with my processor and I forgot to enable it so I thought the software was faulty and hard to intuit but its simply was the fact that I upgraded to 16 core processor as suggested. 3. When you create a VM use an ISO image then add another disk image make sure you set the boot priority for the cdrom to 2 so that way once your install is completed you are golden it will boot from the drive ;) The little reminder message is now in 1.2.1 I like that you did that to tell users they must also create a hard disk drive. Other than that it is much more intuitive then I thought the interface does work as I figured it would I thought it was less intuitive because of the fact of Virtualization being turned off on my CPU. After I turned it on the interface seems to do what I tell it to in an fairly intuitive manner yep I think I found my alternative to proxmox as long as there is no crazy deal where you bring on this insane you need to license this software and pay a monthly fee type crap I'm just a little guy with a home lab essentially. Biggest thing on the production side is a couple of website servers that are VM's. Otherwise I'm just Fixing folks PC's on the cheap for elderly folks, disabled vets, and farmers. We don't have any tech support in the area so I tend to fix and do practically everything. TV's, Computers, Laptop, wifi installs, cameras, anything dc wired or that plugs into the wall socket heck even rewire trailers and so forth. So when you make 25 bucks an hour and you have an extremely small base due to population it only makes sense you can't afford these insane prices some of these companies want to license their products. I hope this never goes that route! Its a good piece of software but like any other piece I'll drop it like a bad habit if they make it inaccessible to folks like me with such fee schedules I'm lucky I can afford the PBX fee's beyond that well it's pretty insane.

I would like to see Jeff try this using on of the SLES 12 SP5 for SAP images supplied in the Azure Market place. He will find it as broken a process as I am. The main one being after the migration I can't bootstrap to the new SLES 15 SP4 channels because RPM is broken. The RPM venv-salt-minion is required. Its was there before the migration but not viewable using rpm -qa after the migration however when trying to install it it fails it it thinks its already installed. I think more things are broken than that,
