They’ll start escorting personnel out when the escaped SCP’s have been recontained.* That sense of bliss abruptly leaves you. Your priority is now to get the fuck out of the place. You hear the boots of the soldiers marching, as your heart keeps beating. You hide under a table. You sneezed. Now, you’ve caught the attention of the task force. You immediately realize that you are doomed, but the soldiers let their guard down and continue on. You lose them, walking down the seemingly endless hallways of the entrance zone. Your legs are numb from walking in the almost infinite halls of the facility. You open a door, and a blast door sits in front of you. There’s a big sign over it, reading *GATE A*. Could…this be it? You’re finally at the end. You call the elevator, and take it back up to the surface. *But are you really going to escape?*

The portion of The Dread that plays at the end reminds us of what we endured when we beat the game.

You’ve done it. You escaped with 4 possible outcomes. You die in a massive explosion not knowing that you could have saved everyone from death at the hands of a massive lizard. You die not knowing that disabling the nukes saved everyone. You’re detained by the foundation and you are labeled as one of the things you have been running from for hours. Or you’re taken by a different group for some form of interrogation. But all that doesn’t matter really you’re just a single man and the worlds in flames for all you know 079 has control over every foundation site that’s on and off world.
