Good analysis as always guys. Don’t know if you’ve talked about this in a previous podcast but what are y’all’s thoughts on hiring coaching talent outside the program? I’d say that we should hire some offensive coaching talent out of UIW. They’ve been an offensive factory these past couple of years.

Great podcast. Glad someone is willing to address the elephant in the room regarding the program this year. It wouldn’t bother me so much if Traylor was taking some ownership and not making excuses every week. There’s no reason we should be this bad..

The fact that the amount of UTSA fans that went was so low , in my opinion, shows that most of those people that show up to the dome don't see TXST as a rival. TXST sees it as a rival still but can't say the same for the bulk of UTSA fans nowadays. Most of those season ticket holders and/or regular gameday fans don't have the ties to the university from when the 2 schools were in the Southland.

honestly the reason utsa lost this game is because txst had better athletes on the field, utsa looked overwhelmed on all facets of the game, had nothing to do with effort, effort wouldn’t have made mcowen throw more accurate passes, effort wouldn’t have made the punter kick further than 30 yds, i think traylor needs better athletes in san anton to make this rivalry competitive again, most of txst starters can start in a p4 program, same cannot be said about utsa

Honestly guys, and I’m gonna call him out. CJ James is overrated and more so plays for himself. He is no Maka. If you watch his first interview, he admitted he had issues playing for team and not himself. He said Traylor had to have a conversation with him. My point being, that’s the problem you run in to when you replace pivotal roles with transfers and not vetting them as a team player first. There is a reason why these players step down to a lower conference school. They were either told they would be benched, or forced out and told to leave. I’m not blaming the loss on CJ James but on the sea of transfers that have been inserted with no experience in the system.

Also don’t yall remember saying this was your most talented roster in school history all of yall were saying that

Yall have benefited from us having an almost purposeful mismanagement of our football program by an athletic director who didn’t want us in D1 the disgrace Larry Teis now with KDamph and Coryell making use and working hard to expose what a Gem the school is and the brand and the amount of money we have the game has changed. The brand is a gold mine. We have the right admin now - just look at what the group of five guys said about our gameday atmosphere about our fans everything. also yall are overblowing what Kinne said he was trying to be generous after stomping his mentor our recruiting revolves around fielding the best possible the we can to win championships which… is what every coach does.

Kennesaw State played a really good game. They are a better team than I thought. They are not the worst team in CUSA, that is four sure.
