Ma’am when to know which method to use for mean?
@@noaman3756 if the values of xi Or class marks are small, then the normal direct method is used... If the xi values are bigger, then we can choose between assumed mean and step deviation.... Step deviation is very convenient... Only problem is that xi-A should be a multiple of the class size h.. Otherwise it will be more complicated then the direct method itself.... If xi-A is not a multiple of h, we can use assumed mean method.... Pls let me know if you have any questions....
@@EnjoyMath oh okay got it thank you so much. I don’t really understand how to find the central value of xi. It is confusing when the number of tables is even. After picking 2 middle terms am I supposed to pick the one with the higher frequency? For example: fi = 4, 9, 9, 2, 4, 2 xi = 0.02, 0.6, 0.10, 0.14, 0.18, 0.22 Is the middle term(a) supposed to be 0.14 or 0.10? as 0.10 has higher frequency
@@noaman3756 any xi value can picked as value of assumed mean A.... But if we take the xi from the middle class interval as A, our calculations will be simpler.... If number of class intervals is even, then any of the 2 middle terms can be taken.... It won't make any difference in the final answer.... It's not a rule we have to choose that term with highest frequency.... Any term we can choose..... Pls let me know if you have any questions...

Let's analyze the spent amounts and the balance: Spent: 20 + 15 + 9 + 6 = 50 Balance: 30 + 15 + 6 + 0 = 51 Ah-ha! The total balance (51) is actually ₹1 more than the total spent amount (50) and the initial amount (50)! It seems the ₹1 didn't come from anywhere; instead, the balance has an extra ₹1 that wasn't accounted for in the spent amounts!
Wonderfully explained ❤
