Thank you! Just to clarify, are you referring to the animations for the deco sims? All of those animations come from in game and are exported using sims 4 studio clip pack

@Chérisii No, I’m sorry! I meant to ask how you record and upload your Sims into Blender. I’ve seen your other videos, and they look incredible-it’s exactly what I’ve been wanting to do! I want to use my Sims and place them in Blender to make them look and do certain things. I absolutely love your work and find your videos so informative!! I’m a beginner also what computer do you use if you don’t mind me asking? I currently use a MacBook Pro and realised ripper doesn’t work unless I use parallels.

​@@GRWMuna Im sorry I am still kinda lost. I do use sim ripper to rip my sims from my game. Then using the sim Ripper program through sims 4 studio (this is a different ripper from Ninja Ripper) I then export it as a .dae file and import that file into blender (file >> import >> collada) From this point I think use different armatures/rigs and tools and blender to manipulate it the way I want. @ most definitely and I had a question about the stall NPCs, can I use both types? I saw there were the ones you can click on and purchase items but wasn’t sure if the older ones were just animation only. I would like to use both if I am right. I will tag you in my gameplay video once I placed them at the night market, so exciting!!!

@ so if you are referring to the simple shop keeps ones. Those are standalones from my tomarang revamp. They still work to buy things from it’s but your sims may not be able to reach them for the talk interactions just bc the stall in the world can’t interfere with your sims reaching it and real objects can. Let me know if that makes sense

In Blender, if you open the Rig Plus Asset Library and the 3D viewport side by side. In object mode, you should just be able to drag anything from the asset library into the 3D viewport.

Ty!!! I actually put this togeher before I knew how to animate the deco sims but all the vendors are actually functional and sell stuff. It would be interesting to revist it though whit what I know now

This should be a straight forward process so I will just go ahead and explain it here. So because I am using the sims ripper to take the sim models from game they are pre weighted for sims 4 rigs. This means after importing the sim dae file in blender I just delete the default rig it comes with and use the armature modifier to replace it with the rig I want. Now if you wanted to weight paint a custom rig for a custom model I would look into blender's 'parent with automatic weights' feature.

Deco Sims are like decorative objects that resemble Sims. People often put them around to make spaces feel more full and add atmosphere. However, they usually don’t move and are just posed.
