People spending money to test what ever stage of alpha progress you would call this project and expecting it to operate like a full release game. CIG has really sold most people on the idea that this is a game you can play - but you’re just spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars to stress test their project for probably another 10 years. If you boot it up within the mentality of just testing for CIG you’ll probably not get so upset. You’ve bought a junk car that’s in the middle of being repaired and are upset it doesn’t drive like a brand new one

Yes 4.0 has degraded in the last few days

4.0 is a preview, that means you can have a look at it, it's not supposed to be 100% full on playable. There's a reason they left 3.24 going, it's because the game is still in Alpha, so, once you have previewed 4.0, you can then go back and play 3.24. The plan isn't and never was for people to fully play 4.0 on launching the PREVIEW, it was for you to check it out, that said, any uec you make and any thing you buy in game, will remain once CIG has ironed the game out. Chuck, you must have known this, if you didn't you're being a total dick. Go read "Preview" in the dictionary.

They were going ham before xmas to get this out to us. After they dropped 4.0 they went on break and aren't even back yet. What did you expect?

I am sure somewhere down there, someone must have pointed out that you didn't have *TRACK* on for that first mission. In my experience, if you abandon the first mission, it somehow screws up any more you might take. I dunno, Star Citizen is about the worst POS anyone could think of trying to play but it's nice when it does work.

Yeah... You are trying to play it like it's a polished game. You need to take a mission at a time and if it's bugged do another mission or switch servers. But I play every day and can't play more like 10% of the time.

Ardor 3s are slightly better around 10% more damage Power plant Diligence, why?, stock one already got 19pips, better the solarflare or starburn competition C&B with 21 pips or any other reason? Stock Q drive is already pretty good , but huracan is a slight upgrade Shields are solid tho for pve! nice vid and nice flying tho

"All that was a huge waste of time" .. Star Citizen in a nutshell Also average Pyro gameplay. When everything works, you get a contract, go to the few main areas, conclude the mission, get your loot, fly away and get blown up by a whale or influencer with all the ships and so much stuff they don't need to do the missions and have fun blowing up other because they have the best ships and equipment that never wipes ..

I don't know how or why anyone bothers. Game is and always has been a clunky POS.

I spent 3-4 hours yesterday just to salvage for 300,000 credits Crashed to desktop 5-6 times, 4 computer freezes, 3 blackscreens, 2 blue screens of death. None of my missions worked. I feel your pain.

its a broken experience I feel the pain too.

Maybe don't play at all or upgrade your system and/or internet. I have not had 1/100th of the problems you complain about.

Im getting a "no shards available error" right now, on both Aisa and Australian servers. Yesterday I was getting error 3221225477 crashes all day .

I have a very good idea of how much time SC wastes! Four years in the verse ... 1000s of hours. Minimum 25% wasted due to bugs, 50% wasted due to unnecessary grind. 25% fun and that's being generous!

This is how I feel when I boot the game. I hope CIG sees this. Standard gameplay experience right here. The time to chill out and let them hide behind calling it Alpha is over. This year, we really need a game or all the players are gonna turn into sailors.

That's why you gotta wait a lil while after big updates like this, assuming everything goes smooth after large content updates like this (especially 4.0 and the like) right after release isn't realistic from SC

Orison Seraphim space station to august space station is 7 low missions. 334k a trip from Seraphim to August. You can rent a C1 for 68k for 1 day at orison and buy a Argo Atlas (makes loading and unloading easy). about 25min to do all 7, load and unload. There is also 1 mission 37k back up to the station

Well, another option is not deleting them, and publishing them all the same. If that's the reality of the game, that's what we need to see.

Have not been able to access the game for over 10 days, trapped in a corrupted shard.. Just left like this at least u can play.. Repair does nothing only a true reset which was removed fixed it..

calm down people... CIG staff went to holidays thats why the servers are not holding as well... When they released 4.0 preview it was GOOD AS FUCK for 2 weeks.. But they have lives too chill out.

So true The list of time wasted due to glitches, bugs, server issues, etc. is long. The lastest one is drrink - screen goes black - f4 for camera change and character is face planted and frozen. The state of the game is pitiful. Since coming back to the game a couple of patches ago it has always been a mess but this is probable the worst. Maybe that is why they call it a preview - and this is a preview of an Alpha so not much to expect.

Since launch i have co.plete 3 bounty, 1 trade, and 1 mercenary mission. Now I don't even see bounty missions and the player bounties don't tell.me were to go

Well, I finally got a Merc contract to work..."Kill the King". I got there and started killing enemies...had a Mule and box to loot everything...getting new armor and sniper rifles and stuff...done and leaving....another player shows up and blows up me and my ship while I was trying to leave...DOH!
