A Transcription video that Isn't a jazz solo?!?!?
Another day, another transcription! I've had this one sitting in my folders for probably 3 years now. I went through a huge phase of transcribing video game music around 3-4 years ago and I only realized now that it is HUNDREDS of songs from dozens of games. So if I'm going to showcase that work, I'll do so starting with a song that resonates so close with me.
This tracks i just plain gorgeous and only gets more so in its other track variations. This track (Comet Observatory 1) Is the most simplest with just Harp, Synth, Flute, Cello and Vibraphone where as the later track Comet Observatory 3 has a full symphony playing a japanese style waltz. This really shows the versatility of these tracks using the same melody but invoking different and stronger emotions each variation.
