With all the incredible R&B songs that topped the regular pop charts in 1962, and there were plenty of awesome ones like Baby It's You by the Shirelles and Make It Easy on Yourself by Jerry Butler, and even You Beat Me to the Punch, by Ms. Wells, I remember that this was my favorite that year.

Thanks for remastering this! The original has too much high range; this is much more balanced.

I was quite young when this was released. Incredibly, I enjoyed this song observing older teen's jam to this dancing with parents. The song sounds so perfect, because Mary Wells was blessed with a voice that you want forget. Looking back, I can say this was the "GOLDEN" era of soul from the beautiful sister's. It is like this song, and many more originated yesterday with a eternal powerful resonance. The vocal clarity has a superb quality that transcends time.
