Acrylic pouring through sieve - crazy result
มุมมอง 130วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video, I embarked on a culinary adventure, wielding a sieve in an unexpected Acrylic pour experiment. The result? A delightful surprise. I realized I could refine my technique and minimize the chaos next time. Despite some of the paint being too thin and slipping through the sieve without much fanfare, the final outcome was satisfying. Next time, a thicker pour will be my strategy. Acry...

Crazy result with silicon oil and paint

In this video, I aim to create a lighter-feeling canvas, using pinks and whites as the primary elements. My initial attempt was unsuccessful due to unnoticed lumps in the paint mixture, which affected the outcome. Great color choice! New subscriber here.
Much appreciated 👏 subbed right back
@@malachi.creates Thanks, man! 👊🏾
I'm just curious where the marble is. It looks a lot more like a pearl pour?
You don't see marbling ?
@malachi.creates Sorry, not at all. Maybe it's because I create realistic marbling. 😊
Sometimes the simplest methods have the most stunning results, this is beautiful.
Thank you I'm new to pouring and I'm blown away by how beautiful these can turn out. Thank you for a kind comment 🙏 😊
Lovely work thank you 😊
Thank you for a lovely comment 😊
It would match any style of furniture on the wall!

Wow, how cool is that! Very well done! It was great to read about the Grand Prismatic, I've never heard of it. If you feel like it, you could create some winter scenery sometime.

@@malachi.creates I don't know if there will ever be a winter creation, because you seem to be a summer boy. ☀😄 Thank you!

@@malachi.creates I should rephrase. I wish I saw it in the short
We artists are our own worst critics. Each piece we create is a learning journey. I’ve had many what I call fails for sure 😊 Beautiful creation ✨
Thank you ai appreciate the kind words and I totally agree haha
Very cool!!!! The right one looked touch n go for a while… but then!! Good moves!!!🎉
Haha thank you I agree I'm glad it evolved haha 😄
How do you know you failed? I think it turned out well, and anyway, I don't believe that you can make a mistake with this technique. Okay, sure, you can make mistakes in minor things, like how the paint is mixed and what it's mixed with, but it's like scrambled eggs; if the scrambled eggs don't turn out right, you're an alien. I don't mean to say that everyone can make beautiful creations with this technique, because you need imagination and skill to create something beautiful. But there is nothing wrong with your creation! It is very beautiful and special!
I appreciate it, I guess its more of a learning lesson for me and it wasnt what I had in mind, but the final result was beautiful, like marble stone it was a cool result haha thanks for the comment.
@@malachi.creates Oh, then I apologize, it is very true that what you write is an end result of what you wanted to get out of your creation, and you are the only one who can really see where you wanted to take this specialness. So again, I apologize and I see it differently from here. Thank you for the experience!
Dutch pours are tough, but fun. Maybe you might try a larger puddle of paint to blow and just keep trying. That's all we can do. Plus it is still pretty.
I think the canvas is small too haha but thank you I appreciate the comment ☺️ I'll get it it I promise
Even though the Dutch pour failed you still created something wonderful. Watch Molly, Olga Soby they do wonderful Dutch pours
Haha yes they are the masters I actually got indpred by them. It's all learning and I was happy with the result though ☺️
I still haven't mastered the Dutch pour first one was oh no that was a disaster
I think it's beautiful! 💫🤩
Thank you I was happy at the end I'll have to practice more to get a Dutch pour 😄
Beautiful work,thanks 😊
Thank you for the kind comment 😀 always appreciated 👏

Thank you very much I appreciate your comment and I'm glad you thi k it's gorgeous 😊
Gorgeous work 😊
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you think it's gorgeous 😊
Why not use floetrol or another pouring medium? Like GAC 800 or liquitex pouring medium? There are so many to choose from. You can even use watered down Elmer’s glue to get great cells and save cash if you don’t want to spend too much on a pouring medium. It will also help save paint. You will use so much less paint with a pouring medium. You can create beautiful cells with different pouring mediums and you don’t have to wash or scrub your painting after to get all of the silicone off before varnishing it or a resin top coat. Your base is so thick. When it dries it doesn’t crack or craze? It must take ages for that to completely dry. How long does it normally take to dry?
I'm going to try so many things, and I'll definitely make a video on cheaper ideas. I came across Silicon and just playing with it. I got told WD40 is great, too, so I'll do more content with these options. So far I haven't had any cracking other than when I did a second pour over one I didn't like but made a beautiful golden crack that really made the piece. It takes about 2 days to fully dry and so far I haven't done a top coat, but I will do a resin coat for some of these pieces. Pouring is brand new to me, and I'll definitely take all the advice yo create more beautiful work. Appreciate your comment 🙏
@@malachi.creates good luck hun. Look forward to watching your journey as you learn and grow in your art. 😁
@@malachi.createsWD40 has to be scrubbed off of the painting after as well. You don’t need that stuff to make cells. You are going to find better ways. More masterful ways then little hacks that just makes things harder in the long run. If you don’t completely scrub that oil off of the painting before varnishing or putting on resin, it will ruin the resin and leave spots that are void. If you buy Australian floetrol online you can use that in one of your colors of paint and create cells. Then use other or less expensive pouring mediums for the other colors!
@@lindsayhuff8813 I appreciate it and these comments, I'm excited for this new art journey.
Wow, interesting! 🤩🥳🌈

I have a question, there’s always some dripping on the back of the Canvas, do you leave it like that or what do you do?
I usually use an offset paint tool to scrap the underneath of the canvas to prevent drip like paint formations. I'll wait till most of it is set and then do that, and it removes the drops
@@malachi.createsthank you
Very cool 😎 definitely has a galaxy feel. Just subscribed!
Appreciate the sub, my friend. This does remind me of the color of our milky way 🌌.
Oh my goodness, I just saw that, but it's amazing! Those colours! They don't really exist! 🤪 You always have something new to show!
Just uploaded this one and its one of my favorite ones yet
There are lots of painting techniques on youtube, but no one does yours. I don't know... as you wrote, you see chaos in it, and you're right, but you still create chaos with a sure hand, as if you know in advance which color belongs where. The nice thing about these abstract paintings is that everyone can imagine what they want in them, everyone is looking at the same work. I always look forward to your next creation because I know it will be something special. It doesn't matter what you have in your hand; paint or wooden spoon, I always love to look at it.
This a great comment, this form of art is for whoever sees it can find something unique for them and interpret these colors and patterns in their own way, which is amazing and I love seeing what other people see in my art.
@@malachi.creates I do watch other videos, but I usually fast forward, see the end result and that's it... but I like to watch the whole process in your videos, and I mean your cooking videos. It's nice to watch the lighthearted joie de vivre you represent.
@@user-fq1hg3tu3p I appreciate you watching it means a lot that you like the content. Always appreciated.
Wow, this is something really cool! I thought of a mystical forest when I watched the video!
That's an interesting view I see the chaos of a swirling dark gas giant planet like Jupiter, but in a far away galaxy
Great! Keep creating!
Thank you appreciate the comment 🙏🙏🙏
Nicely done! Great results, especially if you're new to, and just learning, this kind of painting. It will be a surprise, every time. You can 'kinda' plan it (and over time, you'll get better at it), especially as you learn different techniques for manipulating the paint, but you can never accurately predict what the outcome will be. And that's the fun! Sometimes it's not what you hoped for, but other times it's better than you think it will be. As long as you enjoy it, that's what matters. 😊
Couldn't agree more. I just love the results and the suprise of it too. There is so much to learn with this style of art, and I appreciate the comment and love it means a lot to me 🙏🙏🙏 thank you
Very nice 😊
😊thank you appreciate the comment
I really like how you just go for it with experimenting! I love the details in this piece too 💫🎉
Thank you I do like the small details on it. Yes sometimes it's best to just create and go with it and adapt to the piece completely changing 🙌
Better off using a defuser on the end of your hairdryer.
Is that the thinner attachment? I did not use that the hairdryer pushed out the paint a bit too much. Thank you ill try this 😌
@@malachi.creates Depends on how close you hold it to the canvas. That's my experience anyway.
love it
Thank you. I appreciate the comment 🙏
Good work love the art, keep it up and you got this 😃
Much appreciated my friend. Thanks for the love
Beautiful work. Love the color blend of second. I'm wondering if one color at a time can be spread with hairdryer in shapes of animals, trees, ponds, grass flowers. Would the colors look well put together for a blended picture? 🌺🌹
Interesting, I'm not sure. I've never tried that, but could be a cool idea, hey 😎
The "Cell Structure" is different on this one. Much more random and varied.
It is different, and I feel a bit smaller cells, too. Maybe the hair dryers pushing down too hard I might try that pattern but use a straw or an offset to move the paint around. I do like the result, but more testing is to be done
Beautiful! I love the colours and stunning patterns 🎉🎉
It's so much fun seeing how these pours turn out. Thank you for the comment
That's such a cool idea! Looks great! 🎉
Thank you, it was so fun to make ill habe to try more of these concepts
