AAC Element 2 22lr Pistol Host Comparison
In this video, I take a look at a few 22lr pistol hosts for an AAC Element 2. We did experience so failures with all of the hosts, which I think was mostly ammo related unfortunately. All three sounded pretty close, but there was a clear winner for best sounding.

AAC Element 2 Suppressor Ultrasonic Cleaning
มุมมอง 14K6 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I show how to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the AAC Element 2 using an ultrasonic cleaner. Note: Ultrasonic cleaners are NOT for suppressors with aluminum baffles as they can pit the softer aluminum. Also, I do not recommend putting parts with finishes you want to preserve in the ultrasonic cleaner.
$5 Pizza Showdown: Little Caesars Hot and Ready Vs Walmart Hot to Go Pizza

In this video, Alex and I do a head to head comparison of two budget friendly pizzas. We see whether Walmart's blatant copy can compete with a traditional pepperoni Hot and Ready pizza from Little Caesars. Pizza, Pizza!
Chiappa M1-22 Carbine
มุมมอง 48K6 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video we take a look at the Chiappa M1-22 Carbine, otherwise known as the legacy sports or citadel M1-22. This little 22lr reproduction of the classic USGI M1-Carbine looks great and is a blast to shoot. Although it is not made out of the same quality materials as the original, it still provides the joys of shooting an M1 carbine at an affordable price. Link to M1CarbinesInc for more in...
Rugged Surge Short Vs Long
มุมมอง 1596 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I took the film from my rugged suppressors Surge 762 Sound Test (link below) and shortened it to just the actual firing sequence. The Surge is slightly louder in the short configuration, but what is more noticeable is the difference in tone. Order of firearms: AR-15 16"- long 30 cal end cap AR-15 16"- long 556 end cap AR-15 16"- short 30 cal end cap AR-15 16"- short 556 end cap R...
Rugged Surge vs 22lr Unsuppressed
มุมมอง 2176 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I took the film from my rugged suppressors Surge 762 Sound Test (link below) and shortened it to just the actual firing sequences. The 22lr is slightly louder in all configurations; however, the actual noise from the firearms is different. The 22lr is a deeper boom whereas the higher pitched sonic crack of the suppressed centerfires dominates with the Surge. The Surge is slightly...
Rugged Surge 762 Sound Test
มุมมอง 1.1K6 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I take a look at the Rugged Surge 7.62 suppressor on a variety of firearms. The surge stayed hearing safe on all firearms in all configurations. Over and over again in the video, I explain that the surge is quieter than the unsuppressed 22lr rifle. The 22lr makes a louder muzzle blast that is deeper in pitch like a firecracker. The centerfire rounds through the surge create a hig...

The Chespest 50 Cal Ammo Can...

Today while killing time in my local Tractor Supply, I found the Chespest 50 Cal Ammo Can that I have seen to date. They are clearing out their stock of TreeLine 50 caliber ammo cans. As of 3/6/2018, they are going for $3.49. In this video, I compare the treeline cans to the stoutstuff cans from walmart Get them while you can! TreeLine Ammo Can

22lr Rifle Ammo Test AAC Element 2
มุมมอง 3396 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I test out four different types of ammunition to assess which stays at subsonic velocities through the compact Ruger American rimfire with an AAC Element 2 suppressor. The ammo I was focussing on is the Aguila Super Extra ("Lead Point") 40 gr standard velocity, which has an advertised muzzle velocity of 1130 fps and can be found for a good price shipped to your door. my locking screw broke off my first 10 shots
I had the 9mm version and it was nothing but malfunctions. ('I've been shooting for over 50 years, so don't tell me it was the ammo, magazines etc. it was just crap) now one in .22 came into our shop for me to repair. it's a POS. The customer said it's been repaired a few times and keeps falling apart.
where do i get a holster for it? i have a g17 gen 3 with the laser / light
I've gone with the Harbor Freight Rock Tumbler. I use the small stainless steel rods in it. I vary with solvents but last night I used some Balistol, Citric acid powder, liquid dish detergent and water. I ran the baffles for 24 hours and they came out almost completely clean. I did have to scrap some lead caked on a few using a small knife and/or a brass bristle tooth brush. Another thing I did last time, and I believe which made cleaning a breeze this time was to, once completely clean, I baked the baffles and tube in an oven at 250 degrees for about 30 minutes. From the oven and still hot I immersed all the peaces in a jar of silicone oil (which I purchase on Amazon for this purpose). After the pieces cooled (I actually left mine in the bath overnight) I let the silicone oil drip off the pieces but re-assembled the suppressor with the pieces still coated in oil. The oil does two things... I think it acts to make the suppressor essentially a "wet" suppressor and I really believe the heat treatment and soaking allowed me to wipe off most of the carbon. The Rock Tumbler and steel rods removed most of the lead. The biggest issue for me now is the lead. It is not as excessive as it was before the silicone oil treatment but is still occurs. I'm wondering, since the melting point of lead is much lower than stainless steel I wonder if I can "spot" melt the lead using a blowtorch??
I had no issues putting the oiler and sling on mine. No mods were needed
Same here I didn’t have to do anything to the stock.
Chiappa M1 Carbine is super fake gun. I had purchased one in 2012 until 2023 I never took it to the gun ranche to shoot. Everything is plastic, magazine, trigger, trigger guard, and both sights are plastics as well. The reason why kept it for a decade and never took it to a ranche because I felt so sorry to the gun is not a real gun like the wwii M1 30 Carbine. So I took it to the gun shop and sold it for cash.
Can you find the black and gray ones anymore?
kicking around the idea of getting one....i had an M-1 carbine back in the 1980's and it has been my favorite firearm ever, (i have owned firearms since 1964)......
ok, was gong to get my chainsaw to open the bpx. nope still couldnt get in. used my mora and shattered the plastic box. problem solved.
Can the Rx be used with a 300 blackout??
Just finding this video. What is the diameter of the Rx?
Where can you buy one?
Thank you for making the video that way -- you need patience to run many rounds for the baffles to be completely clean. The ratio is also important. You can use purple power in full strength too (no dilution), which would make the cleaning faster.
I got this same light iv come to the conclusion tha I got a bad light it’s drains my battery pretty quick
I purchased one of those for my g17 that basically stays in my nightstand drawer. It is definitely bright enough for inside the home and walking around the perimeter of my property. I wouldn't put the light through too much stress or drop it very much but for what I need it to do it works fine.
What is that lanyard called I’ve been looking and I can’t find any that fit right
Sum m1-22 cum wit a tag on de trigger guard that recommends Federal ammo.. I'v used CCI & SK & Federal wit no problem.. luv my littl m1-22 but still gotta git my m1 30cal out now & then..
You have the ONLY video on the rugged rx on TH-cam
For real. What is up with that
Any recommendations on cleaning aluminum baffles n parts?
how much
Is $69.99 at Academy sports as August 30 2021
I put this on my 300blk pistol. I think it’s great quality
I will buy that rx
Where did you get the sling??
World War Supply has the sling & oiler & ammo pouches in combos er separate..
I purchased one I love it but the green bean and stopped working is there a number I can call for the warranty gun shop told me I had to send it back to get another one is there a number I can call😳😞
LOL I love how in the slow-motion you see it eject two casings in completely opposite directions.. I mean you get what you pay for. This still comes in at a fair amount less than the next cheapest .22 semi-auto rifle in my area. Looks nice, but doesn't perform great. And I would not expect it to. I learned very early on that firearms like this and the GSG-16 for example are nothing more than cool toys. Fun to pull out and let friends shoot, but try and get any real accuracy out of them, use them for extended periods or use it at any distance and you will be disappointed. Not to mention cheap semi-auto .22's jam. They just do, and that really takes away from the fun. I say stick to a Ruger 10/22 or Savage A22, and save up for the real M1. Good video btw!
How do u sight in laser
The packaging is ridiculously difficult to open. Not a great first impression.
I used C.L.R. and it gets my baffles clean..
Where did you buy the baffle removal tool? I have tried finding online but everyone is sold out.
It came with my surpressor
How can you honestly review an item you've never used?
I had one, what a piece of shit! My charging handle broke off and continually jammed. DO NOT BUY, YOU WILL REGRET IT.The customer service is nonresistant. Could not replace charging handle.
Most important question. Can you screw the surges adapt module to the RX?
I bought it and it's really nice
I waited til the first suppressed shot then subbed
ERMA LR22 VS RUGER 1022
Hey Matt, do you still have the Rx? How do you like it? Want to sell it? I've been looking to buy one but can't find it in stock anywhere
Had mine for two years and not a problem. The batteries are high but other than that works great. I have it on my Glock 19 . Not spending 100's of dollars on a light when this one works great for me.
Where did you get that pouch from! Looks cool
World War Supply has the whole package.. I'v orderd 3 combo sets frum them & am vewry pleased wit'em.. they cum in 3 colors.. look'em up..
Look for an old Erma. Can't speak for all of them but mine works flawless.
I used to have an old Erma/Iver-Johnson. Every once in awhile it would fire 2 or 3 shots, then dump the rest of the magazine
@@raymondlengvarsky618 I should have added that I did completely disassemble and clean mine before using it. It was difficult and I fumbled around wishing I had 4 tiny hands for a while. It was purchased used and appeared to have been packed with Play-Doh. Functions well enough that since my last post, I have refinished the wood in a walnut stain/ linseed oil finish. Still looking for a spare mag or two.
Mine is a jamo’matic but I still love it, and my kids love it especially after seeing an M1 Carbine in The Walking Dead. I’ve shot pretty much everything through it but CCI, but I’m going to give it a try now that’s I’ve shot up all my other brands.
Shooting anything but Mini-Mags from it might even be dangerous! It will probably work pretty good with them, mine does.
Mine, I purchased mine three years ago, no jamming with CCI ball ammo. I keep it lubricated and fired 200 rounds without issues. The hollow point will create issues, jamming.
@@dennisstarks1365 I shoot minimags with mine, no issues.
That was the greatest battle instrument at that time Not the MI and its 30-06 round.
Ciiappa recommends Federal ammo but i'v used CCI & SK as well as Federal wit gud luck..
I have a question about your blast baffle. I ordered this very same suppressor got to look at the internals of mine and my blast baffle is stainless steel like the rest of the other baffles. In the video your blast blast baffle looks like it’s made out of a different metal. is that a first run batch and did they change up the material used for the blast baffle.
I wonder about this too, my blast baffle looks like a different metal than the other baffles when its apart on this same model
Have you fires them, it’s like the heat after so many rounds. Mine are cooper color.
a higher quality suppressor might solve your problem.
@@lordfordification what do you recommend?
@@billcarr5406 I like the dead air suppressors but I lost mine in a boating accident.
"Chespest" ??????? C H E A P E S T ! These are good cans, I have several.
I have one in black composite. It is very good you just have to oil it and use CCI ammo 1200 fps or higher. You follow this instruction you will be ok.
Talks too much get to man
Before you buy a Chiappa READ THIS! I am over 60 years old and am a recognised local gun expert. I have owned thousands of guns in my life time and currently own well over 100. So when I recant the following, I know what I'm talking about! I purchased a new synthetic stock version M1-22. It was keyholling at 20 feet, and the rear sight needed be set nearly as far to the left as it would go to even get it to hit a sheet of plywood. Accuracy was non-existent. I should add that the rear sight adjustment knob would just spin and appeared to be stripped out. After some dialog with Chiappa I was allowed to return the rifle for repair. A month passed after tracking indicated they had received the gun, yet I'd heard nothing from them. I sent them a message, several days later they responded that the rifle's repair had been but "put on hold" as they needed to take it to a range, they had none at their repair facility, and that this could take a couple weeks. Another month went by, still no word. Just as I was going to contact them again UPS showed up with the gun. It arrived with a test target showing three groups shot at 20 yards. Each was 2" or more to the right of the bull. I noticed, the rear sight was adjusted nearly as far to the left as it would go. An invoice stated, "Barrel replaced", "Accuracy is now good". While "accuracy" might have now been acceptable, the fact the the rear sight was nearly as far to the left as it would travel was a clear indication that something was still wrong. I test fired the gun and duplicating their test target. I messaged Chiappa again. They responded with a lecture on bullet differences, shooting styles, and advising ME to shoot the gun again. I had to re-point out that it was THEIR own test that resulted in rifle's performance(test target). They further stated that the sight travel was "within our acceptable standards"! Currently the gun is on target at 50 yards with the rear sight is against the LEFT stop. I'm left to wonder if I were to instal a scope if it would have enough adjustment to get it sighted in? A word on ammunition. The gun shoots fine with CCI Minimags, however one in five PMC Zapper will explode with a bast of gas in your face. You may have seen the video of this same behavior using Winchester ammo. I am currently in a state of limbo with Chiappa on this gun. One thing is for sure, given the quality evident in this gun, combined with the attitude demonstrated by the company, I'll never own another of their products! Dennis
The Erma, circa 1966 that I just found will take out a beer can at 75 yds. and has functioned flawless.
@@paulhare662 if only they still made them :/
@@socksonfeet8125 Wishful thinking. Would be nice if they still made $2000 pickup trucks with a three on the tree.
Dennis, I recently purchased a Chiappa m1 22. I too had to move rear sight all the way to the left. 2 clips came with it, 1 jams once every 5 or 6 rounds. The other magazine jams every 3 or 4 rounds. I'm going to try different types of ammo but have heard a lot of people have this problem. One guy said its just a wall hanger as nothing he did fixed it. Others used different springs or filed down somewhere. In your opinion I would guess avoid this gun st all costs. I have an original M1CARBINE 30 Caliber and thought a matching set would be nice.
@@Itsme-gp9vy I shoot nothing but Mini-Mags out of mine. Anything else might even be dangerous. It does shoot pretty good, and seldom jams with the CCI, but the rear sight looks like crap all the way to the left bumper. Luckily, it did zero before it ran out of travel. I can consistently hit a 4" gong at 50 yards. I wonder if a scope would even have enough adjustment to compensate were I to attach one? The company most definitely has some quality control, and customer relations troubles!
I purchased one from Academy sports in July 2019, works fine but the battery life is terrible. I think I have a bad unit as the battery goes dead even when not in use. I put a brand new battery in it and left it alone for a few days. I went to turn it on and the battery was dead. I contacted Iprotect, they need my proof of purchase which I dont have. I contacted Academy Sports, they are looking up my purchase for me, hopefully they find it. Once I get that I can fill out a warranty claim. Anyway, I hope to get it worked out!
Just bring it back where you bought it, If you don't have the package anymore, buy Another new one, & put bad one back inside package & Return with the Receipt.. No Problem.. I've done that before & tell them it is defective...your Wellcome 😊
@@bockAve turns out Academy has a great return policy, I took it back to the store they exchanged it. New light works great.
My son has one. It's fussy on ammo. He hates it! I told him before he picked it out that it's a replica designed for looks. I think it's a pretty little rifle that shoots OK. My 10/22 blows it away on reliability.
Mine has take CCI Federal and r\Remington just fine Use round nose not hallow points.
Great review, I have one and it is not as reliable as a Ruger 10/22. But they do look awesome as you said, Thanks!
Need help looking for a holster that fits a Springfield 3.8 with this light attached
Most likely you will need to get a name brand light such as streamlight or enforce. Holster company's typically only make holsters for mainstream lights. Whatever law enforcement or military are using. I only pit name brand on my carry pieces. I use this protech lights for ar's and nightstand glocks
