a test day for the car with new mods that gave the results of what we were expecting. With Accusump system we managed to fix the problem of low oil pressure and with new tuning of AEM Infinity by Conteperformance we were able to gain 3-4 km/h. in the end i had just fun chasing a Porsche GT3 RS, at the straight line i was able to catch him...

Too bad we had problems with the clutch and basicly downshift to 2nd gear was too big risk in order to damage the gearbox...

John Ward_71 never a problem... infact the previous plan was to mount a OS Giken 1.5...but since this one is working great why change...

Thanks for the info. Stops really well with that setup. Sounds like an ongoing development of the car. I look forward to seeing more of your car and further development. Be great if you did a video going over all the mods you have done. I know I'd be keen to watch. What company does that Kevlar rear clam? Does it come with the single rear taillight and no boot space or was that cut out to install the exhaust up high?
Once we are on the finish line for sure we will make some vids on the car. the clam closed back and afterwards opened by me in order keep as low as possible the temperatures in the engine bay
Great job. Love the colour. Is the front clam Kevlar? What brakes are you running? I noticed the aero catches. Never knew of any company that was making Kevlar clam parts for the lotus. any future plans for further modifications?
no the front is an original pre 2010 clam. In front we have AP Racing 4 pot 5000+ and back the original front brakes Ap Racing 2 pot i found the clam in UK and fitted perfectly for my case it is really light. Next step will be bigger tyres in order increase the speed in the corners and for the next year we looking some mods to improve a lot the HP
Hey IIkka, fantastic built, beautiful colour. Can I ask what year s2 Exige? What colour is that? The new lotus blue. And is the rear clam a late model or modified s2 one. Thanks.
Thanks It's a 2003 Elise 135R transformed into Exige. the Rear clam is a Kevlar one and attached with aero catches. The paint job was done by previous owner and should the rebel blue (Volvo)

Jean-Nicolas Allaire the car is so low that the left rear tyre grinded on the clam. Now the problem is resolved since i changed the wheels

Ahhhh, it took me a while to figure out "Hexige" and "Helise". Now I get it.. Honda powered. ;) It is always fun to watch a Lotus do what it does best - at the track! If interested I have my Lotus track videos posted on my TH-cam channel as well... depending on the video you might catch me in a spin or two or three or... ;)
