I've been wanting to make a character action game for some time, but...these things take time. For now, all I have to show for it is this theme for one of the main characters. I've just always thought character action or hack n slash type games would go so well with some grimy trap, like how DOOM was really elevated with the electronic djent. Honestly, any action game would go good with trap, why do they only do orchestral stuff?
Anywho, this track primarily features Indian instruments and percussion since it's a theme for an Indian character, but I did cheat by layering a Saz in there. If you ever need percussive inspiration, check out Konnakol. Konnakol goes crazy.
I want to name the game "Lamb of Blood". Very unoriginal and immediately very edgy, isn't it? But, that's what I like about it. It's very knowable and easy to repeat. The purpose of art is to build upon previous iconography and either subvert it or reinforce it, so I like having such a name.
