Always a quality and entertaining race the Mass Cap. Memories thinking back to watching Lost Code, hard hitting always trying WAQOUT, the terrific Crypto clearance. Wonderful God Bless these wonderful horses.
COME ON PEOPLE FIND THIS GREAT RACE SAW IT ON HARVEY PACKS INSIDE RACING THEN WHEN THEY RACED. SKIP TRIAL BIG WINNER A STACKED FIELD WONDERFUL ANNOUNCER AND CALL. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.
Private Terms was tough consistent horse, Simply Majestic that West Coast speed, Slew City Slew always fighting, Tour D Or hard knocking horse. Remember them well, they brought us pleasure.
This race had had some stellar fields and some terrific races. Skip Away and Formal Gold at the finish. Wills Way was going to be scratched but changed there mind I guess too close to his fever AMAZINGLY son of Easy GOER sluggish leaving was too far early pacesetting fractions were average but Wills Way put in a run around the turn that was impressive may have turn this around if he wasn't sick earlier and jock paid attention to pedestrian fractions. But top three were wonderful thoroughbreds.
Ahhh.. that Seabiscuit was really something to see... he really surprised his competition and made his mark in the history of American horse racing....wow
Great race by a great horse. Suffolk played host to many great racehorses over the years. Seabiscuit, Whirlaway, Assault, Cigar and others. Great horses, great trainers and terrific riders. New England had some excellent racing. All gone now.
Very good race. Good call. Good crowd. What a shame that New England racing is finished. Suffolk had a great history with some terrific horses over the years.
I grew up in Lynnfield ma and graduate of Lynnfield high school 1975.Then i went to Dean jr college graduate of 1977 .Then I went to bu university of dental technology and worked in a crown and bridge with two other technionions it's an art and craft and if the dentists upstairs didn't like my work they would have let me go but they loved my work .I grew up with horses and went in horse shows jumping fences and i was the best exercise rider and the owners used me to breeze on the wood and at quarter pole go as fast and one day a trainer where i started at suffoulk Downs and went to gulstream park in 1984 for the winter. Rudy Biaze said to me was that you going down bacside he said your a great rider. they said on speaker chris McCarron to barn 7 or whatever. I know Stewart Elliot good . I have not seen him a long time. if you read this comment and it says read more tap that and you read the whole comment Barry shulman.
I was there that day . I was the best exercise rider, the owners and trainers used for breezzing and working on the wood. I was on the backside when it was flourishing and Iwgen I was younger I was in the Wilmington ma horse shows and jumped fences I the best experience at the andover riding academy in north andover ma. And got very good friends with the whole family .The Fiories .Janet farendi and diane Fiories were, the best rider's and teachers at the academy.
I got to watch and bet on Lost Code in the St. Paul Derby. He was one of my favorite horses of all time. Thanks for sharing. If anyone can find any of his other races, please post! Thanks.

Never forget Brass Hat destroying the field in the Donn. Then barely losing the Dubai World Cup.
