Learn here how you can prepare your garden soil for winter! Last weekend, we cleared out our tomato patch. We had a great last harvest! After harvesting all remaining tomatoes, we pulled out the old vines. Unfortunately, we saw some early signs of blight and decided not to put the vines in the composting bin. After that, we pulled our ollas out of the ground. This way they will not crack when t...

Such a fun and fancy treat! And love your red mixer! ❤
I love it too, baking season is in full force so I use it almost every other day now! So convenient, especially with two little boys running around in the kitchen while baking 🙈😋
@livelifefromscratch lol happy baking!
My son and I love stroopwafels. So fun to watch you making them!
These look delicious!!!!
They are! 😜
I have a tiny stove like you do. Is castor sugar the same as brown sugar?
Yes, it is sugar with molasses! I think that is brown sugar.
I think I had these once, but they didn't have a filling and were storebought, so probably not as good as these!
Traditional stroopwafels are cut in half and have a syrup between the waffles. It was a way to use up leftover waffles when they first were sold in Gouda a long time ago, I think somewhere in the 1800s. So maybe you had another kind of Dutch waffle?
@livelifefromscratch maybe so. Or maybe there was a filling and I don't remember
They are very nice! I trided a few and they are delicious!!
Glad you like them!
Thank you! Looks like a real “treat”!😊
I've never seen anything like these, and they look delicious oh my goodness. They're my kind of cookie, I think they may be my new favorite 💙💙
Oh yes, they are so delicious! Try one with a hot cup of tea and lay the stroopwafel on top of your cup for a minute 😍. So good!
@livelifefromscratch I bet that would be amazing, I can't wait!!
Ooooooooooo, so yummy looking.
They were gone in no time, so delicious!
My uncle it Dutch and I will totally make these for him!! Thanks for sharing!
I'm sure he'll love them!
"Even though the gardening season is coming to an end, taking care of the soil is so important! 🌱🧑🌾 Your tips for maintaining and enriching the garden soil will definitely help for next year. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 🌿✨"
Lovely garden and fun to see how you utilize the little space you have available!😊
Thank you!
Nice thumbnail! That the house you looking to buy? With the mountain view would be idyllic!
I wish we could buy that castle but I don't think that is doable. We love the mountains, unfortunately the Netherlands is quite flat.
That last flower is stunningly beautiful! What kind of flower is that if I may ask?
Hi Boonbastixc! That's a Marigold. It's a great companion plant for many crops in a vegetable garden, it attracts pollinators, and is a beauty to look at!
That sheepskin looks so cozy!
It sure is! It's ideal for those days when it's too warm for a coat but too chilly to go outside without one.
Noice!
Thank you Boonbastixc!
My dog likes to eat the extra kefir grains.
Haha that's a creative way to get rid of them without just throwing them away! I don't have a dog myself and I suspect my cat is not going to eat them 😋.
I’ve been taking one shot in the evening for the past 3 weeks and already noticed better sleep and regularity. I’ll start to increase the amount soon since I was getting some mild die off symptoms at first. Great video 😊
Thank you! When you start with drinking milk kefir you could have some reaction in your body. I just like to think its because of the beneficial bacteria, yeast, and enzymes are working their magic 😁. Depending on your symptoms I think its indeed best to slowly increase the amount. We drink one glass every evening and notice thats just the right amount of kefir for us but I think that's personal.
That is some clever use of the coffee residue!
Looks very easy and good to try myself!
Dankje! Hopelijk heb je er wat aan. Laat vooral weten hoe het gegaan is!
looks very delicious. thanks for the ideas
That was very informative! I always drank store bought kefir but seeing how easy it is to make it yourself, I will for sure give this a try!
It is super easy and, compared to store-bought kefir, a lot more healthier! Store-bought kefir often doesn't contain any live kefir cultures anymore and thus loses its main health benefit! Also, the taste of store-bought kefir is nothing when compared to homemade, I hope you'll love it as much as we do!
We’re doing burgers tonight, and brioche is my FAV for buns!
Cool recipes. And nice music! You hear about Robbie Basho? I think you will really like him
Yes, I've heard of him but it isn't really my cup of tea. Thank you for your kind words!
@@livelifefromscratch Cool you heard his music!? He is kind of an enigma, you must know someone with excellent musical taste!
You would think so huh?! 😁
Nice video! That oatmeal recipe looks... Interesting? Haha. Furthermore the hamburgers look really good with all those spices and brioche buns from scratch! Hope you and your family enjoyed them!
I promise, it is way more appetizing than it looks! The brioche buns turned out really well indeed, thank you! We enjoyed our hamburgers a lot!
Beautiful how nature works!
What a great idea about planting under the raised beds.
Certainly when you are limited on space as we are. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to get the weeds out because you got to go on hands en knees to get everywhere but for us it was a great solution to double the growing area! And also not very difficult to make, I might soon make a DIY-blogpost on www.livelifefromscratch.com
What a beautiful drive to the farm!
We are very lucky with the region where we live! It is one of the more beautiful, less urban areas of the Netherlands, and very close to both Germany and Belgium. Many beautiful hiking places within reach to go to with our children
wat een leuk filmpje met ook nog humor en herkenning. Ga zo door en geniet er ook van.
Dankjewel, dat doe ik zeker!
Cool😃
Thank you!
Nice video! That deodorant looks easy to make. I've been looking for a replacement deodorant and I might actually try to make it myself thanks to you! Furthermore, seeing what you can grow in a relatively small space is amazing! Did I see it right, were you also growing corn?! Keep up the good work!👍
Thank you! It's my first ever real youtube video so I have still much to learn, but the best way to learn is by doing it I guess... 🫣. The deodorant recipe is really simple, check my blog if you want to try it. And yes, we are growing corn ourselves. We read it grew good together with many other plants, so we used them a bit as border between zucchini and tomatoes for example. To double your growing space in the garden, the custom raised beds are really useful. My DIY tutorial for these will soon follow on my blog!
Hmm that looks delicious! I tried making it last weekend based on your other video and seeing this short makes me want to bake more of them! Thank you very much for sharing this recipe!!
Good to hear you succesfully tried the bread. Be sure to keep an eye out for other baking recipes I might share if you enjoyed it, baking is one of the greatest pleasures for me 🥰
So easy! Thanks. And praise the Eternal the Living Love Himself our Lord King of kings Yeshua Hemaschiach
Thank you, it is indeed a fairly easy recipe. Hope you enjoy trying it yourself!
Nice ❤
Hmm! That looks like a recipe for a bread a newbie baker like me could even have a go at! Certainly going to try it this weekend. 🍞 Do you happen to have a link to the full recipe step by step? Thank you very much in advance!
Yes, this recipe is basically foolproof 😛. As you can see the top of mine is a bit dark because I forgot to change the oven from grill to hot air 🙈. But besides that you can't really go wrong with this recipe! The link to the full recipe is here livelifefromscratch.com/no-knead-seed-loaf-with-rye-flour/. This and other links for more recipes are also in the video description. Hope you enjoy your easy no-knead seed loaf! Let me know how it turned out.
@@livelifefromscratch I've tried this recipe last weekend and it turned out amazing. I will certainly keep this recipe on my shortlist because it doesn't only look amazing, it also tastes great! Thank you very much for sharing this recipe! It also makes me want to try more baking recipes, i will certainly keep you recommended!

Thank you very much! ❤️ Besides being super delicious it is also very easy to make. I always choose to go for this recipe if I have limited time because of my two little boys. That way I still eat my own freshly baked bread from scratch and can spend quality time with my young ones! 🥰
