i think Viking Spirits and Revolt are my two favorite Ogre Battle themes, and it's always so neat to hear how they iterate on them whenever they carry them over to a new installment. while i'm not a huge fan of how they re-orchestrated some of the music for Reborn, this specific track's definitely a standout with how much "fuller" and "alive" it sounds compared to the Let Us Cling Together version.

​@@_itsmissingindeed, when I first heard this, my jaw hit the ground because of how good it sounded. Whenever I listen to this song, I see a vision of someone walking in the woods on a dirt path in the middle of winter. The path is surrounded by rocks, as well as birch, pine and maple trees that are covered in snow. The sky is Grey and cloudy, but the yellow sun still glows from beyond the horizon. A few flecks of snow fall to the ground. Ahead, there is a wooden bridge above a babbling brook that hasn't frozen over, which leads to a simple, wooden house with a single light shining in the window. It's weird how I see this vision any time I listen to this song.
