I've never dedicated any real time to a texas rig, but 15 in a couple hours has me hooked now. No pun intended. Berkley creature hawg is money, maxscent works. Nice setup bro, tight lines!

Bass always bite better in the early part of the afternoon thru mid afternoon, when the suns high and stays high , they feed at night right, so it takes 2 hours for their eyes to adjust to lack of light and then sunrise, so early morning they’re up shallow to see and continue feeding from the night, then the bite shuts off (unless you land it in front of one) then as the sun rises it progresses to be a better bite.. this is true for most of the year but especially true in late winter- early spring when waters cold. When they bend like that when u hold them the waters still probably low 40s

We've been fishing the Swammer lately on a homemade underspin for mainly Sandbass, caught a 3.3 on white or chartruese and then a 5lb bass on a black/blue. Tight lines!
