Desert Stone Surface Texturing Factory
This is the latest edition to our factory. It's a single head flatbed polishing machine. We had it custom made with an extra large bed of 80" x 140" to accomondate todays extra large slabs. We also use the standard Italian Fickert polishing head by Co.me.s. for granite. The Frankfurt head is used for marble & softer stones.

If there is going to be a disposal installed you'll need to use a nylon lock nut or double nut if you don't have one. After about 10 years those wing nuts vibrate off. I have repaired hundreds of these in apartments.
Can you install these when the granite counter is already installed? Will the epoxy stay in the drilled hole upside down? Thanks
Yes, as the adhesive is very thick. Granite fabricators would say "knife grade"

What is the brand of the blue Core Bit you are using?
Everyone else I've seen says it's important to keep the bit water-cooled when you drill into stone. And you're making stone dust without wearing a respirator? Yeesh, dude, not the best role-modeling there.
Well Zippy, everyone else must be using their grandfather's "wet only" core bits. This would be modern technology that allows you to run dry. As for the dust, as you can see there's not enough to worry about. If you're drilling a lot of holes, a dust mask would be imperative. Now on the other hand, if you did run wet, it would help save 30% of the diamond wear, and get rid the dust. Thanks for the comment.
