That's me, the 28th trumpet from the left! Err, somewhere. Watching this today, listening to the opening roll-off before Grandioso, I can still feel a tiny part of my stomach tensing up: "Gotta get that step-off EXACTLY right, there's nothing more obvious than the doofus who's missed his line's step-off!" Oh, the mammaries! Hook 'em!

My second favorite band be hind my alma mater. So impressive and some of the best music in college football. Some schools are known for one song. The Longhorn band is known for March Grandioso, Texas Fight, The Eyes of Texas, The Yellow Rose of Texas and Wabash Cannonball. They help make the second Saturday of October what it is. I always enjoy watching and listening to them.

In 1973 I was the RIGHT- FRONT- PULLER of BIG BERTHA....even though I went on to be Varsity Cheerleader in '74-'76, I was never PROUDER than to be a part of the LHB....a cherished memory!

Great performance, but TEXAS STILL SUCKS!

Why can't bands march like this anymore? Today, all we get are stick figures and pictures.

This was the most horrible perfromance by LHB. They were absolutely terrible.

I saw the Always in the thumbnail and I thought it was going to be a Harry Potter tribute.

Do you happen to have footage of UT honoring soldiers in Afghanistan that night? My nephew was one of the soldiers and i can't find footage of this anywhere. Appreciate it.
