Sorry it's been a couple of weeks! Still pretty wet up north! We transplanted some pine trees and got critter cam videos! A new fawn and three bear cubs have been born!

It was a muddy and wet trip to install a new kitchen faucet and go on a trail ride to the Bear’s Den! My good friend Rolf and I also had a wonderful sauna!

For your generator box, on one end have an intake vent on the bottom. On the other have a 110 v exhaust fan with Louvre’s operated by a 110 thermostats that plugs into your generator. Advice from Jon

That's a good question! I'll try put a cost analysis together comparing solar power components vs. generator components.
Technology in the north woods!
To start with on the generator I couldn't tell if you had the exhaust out side of the box. If it's inside it may take the oxygen level down far enough to kill the motor
The exhaust is vented outside the box. I bought an exhaust extension. I think I'm going to build a bigger box with better ventilation in mind!
I quit drinking about thirteen months ago. I didn't drink much so it wasn't hard to do. I had one sip of some homemade mead that my dad is making when I was over at my parents house for Thanksgiving. It was only a sip when he was testing it out. It's going on almost two years in two glass jugs that hold about ten gallons each.

i lived in a connex like this for three months with two other guys when i was in afghanistan. There was only one window and the a/c never worked and it smelled like beef jerkey and mold. Throw daily rocket attacks on top of that and it was not fun but i did have a respect for living in small spaces and am currently looking for tiny houses to live in off grid. You did a great job fixing yours up.

@6:06 extend your air cleaner to outside the box and install small sucker fans by your vents to pull cool air in, your genset is "Air Cooled"

You can create a screen door for your generator shed. Ours is a 3ft by 3 foot 6.5 ft high with a screen door and vented out the back
I really enjoyed the "critter'' cam! I am a 78 year old man whose heart is "trying to kill" him so I can't get out in the woods anymore! I appreciate you taking the time to show us your good looking piece of land and camp! Keep up the good work and enjoy that "premium" that you had in your hand!
