Love your style of fishing in the wooded areas. I live on the Murray River in Mildura. Huge open spaces here on the river now as they have removed all the snags in the main channel. Maybe I should find a backwater. Re Bursitis, I have suffered it as well and it is painful. Had to roll from left side to right side and back again every twenty minutes in bed when trying to sleep at night. I’m a lot older than you and have suffered it a couple of times in the past ten years. The Cortisone has worked wonders for me. First time round no one explained what to do, and I was back there in six months for two more injections. When you have the injection “YOU MUST NOT” do any physical work with your arm for 48 hours. Otherwise, like me you will stuff it up and have to go back. Do the right thing and you will get relief for years. All the best. 😊

Great Video! Must have been so exciting to catch your ‘Monster Cod’ on a lure so close to the bank. The guys that run around in Tinnies with fish finders could never get an Adrenalin rush like that. The machine does most of the work and the Fisherman needs no skill. They just keep dropping different bait under the fishes nose until it takes one.

Fantastic work Willy, I really enjoyed this. Definitely up there with your best work. Thanks for the shoutouts, youre a legend. My tip, and I learned this from my good mate Rohan at RKJ fishing, is to hold both rings on the cray nets together when you throw them. Frisbee the net out if you know what i mean. One last thing... My cousins in Wagga call them Lobsters, or Lobbys as well. Yellowbelly - Callop. Crayfish - Lobsters. Crays - Lobbies. 😂

Would love to see a "lobster" catch and cook in the camp oven one day, that would be awesome to see 👍 Just watching this, you can see how it gets a bit more tough in the colder weather, good to know it's worth being that persistent, that fish at start, must have taken plenty of casts... How awesome are trout cod though, such an awesome fish. Great explanation on fishing structure, the only cod fishing i have done, has been rocky areas with no logs... i feel that makes it a bit different, but no matter what structure is definitely key, weather that's rock ledges or logs. Some great information especially for people, just getting into cod fishing. Keep up the awesome work as always legend. PS Can't wait for my lures 👍
