Mum said there wasn't much to report except that I was the perfect child. I hardly cried, didn't do much baby talk and enjoyed my company. Fortunately, I grew up in a very calm environment, and my best friends were my dogs. I would put my skirts on them and lie with them in their bed. I am still convinced I am a part dog, lol She-wolf. Please ask me questions and leave me a comment ♡ If your ex...

My Burnouts Suck! Nothing makes sense, everything is painful and I want to burry myself. I used to imagine that I was part vampire and lock myself away in my bedroom with the lights off during this time. This is probably why I love vampire stories lol. But When its bad I can't do anything because i'm so sensitive and communicating seems to stop. Thanks for watching!! #actuallyautistic #autistic...

I was told at my disability hearing by the pretty famous psychologist from a very famous hospital and university that I couldn't be Autistic because I had a boyfriend 😮

Lockdown was the best year of my life. Was it like this for most Autists?

I was in camhs after a burnout at 16 i had a very similar experience to not being diagnosed due to social skills. Because my psychiatrist was so adamant i was not autistic i too denied it. It is only now at an even lower point ive been able to see the obvious truth and I wonder how they did not see it when i was a teen. So much pain could have been mitigated but perhaos its best not to dwell Thank you for sharing your experience.

Experiences like this can be so invalidating and it sucks that not all of us have access to a competent psychologist. It is unfortunate that so many of us have to get to this 'breaking point' in order to self accept and make sense of our selves. I wished that I had been diagnosed as a child too however after a lot of pondering I no longer think this. The supports would have been different and society was not as accepting back then and it might have been harder in many ways. I guess we will never know but I'm glad that the diagnosis has connected me with like minded people and I no longer feel alone. Thank you for sharing your experience feel free to ask me any questions if you have any.

Thank you for this. It really means a lot to witness someone’s experience. Where do you get the articles and resources for autism?

Hey, Thanks for messaging. It means a lot to know that my content is useful to people. Well I learned by watching peoples youtube videos and then I started reading books about autistic women's experience. autisticadvocacy.org/ this is a good advocacy network <<< I mostly learned by watching content creators because the medical definition and the way it describes autism is offensive. If you have any questions please ask and I can answer them in videos even if there random lol I know quite a bit just have trouble identifying where to start. Thanks again for messaging
