North Star on Ovation Of The Seas

In today's video we will be showing you, what it's like to go 90m above sea level, in a gondola, that is suspended over the side of Ovation Of The Seas. All while its moving at 21 knots through the water. It's the Royal Caribbean North Star, lots of fun with a fantastic view, but definitely not an ideal for those with a fear of heights.

Is there a delay on the funds hitting your cruise card?
I thoroughly appreciated your video, I am going on her with my partner in January 2025 , so looking forward to it ! . I haven't cruised for several years due to Covid , my first ever cruise was the Dawn Princess , which is now the Pacific Explorer , I have come full circle and re united with my maiden ship , quite sad though that her future is uncertain , thanks for the memories.

I'm curious to know if I can withdraw money I've put onto my card at the kiosk. For example, if I win 500 dollars at casino, can I deposit it onto my card then withdraw it later off the card?

It's a full length mirror good for when your wanting to see how your outfit looks. I don't use it but some people find it helpful to have a nice long mirror like that in the cabin.
Were you bothered by the pool deck noises on the deck above you?
Hi Melissa we couldn't hear much noise above us. We were under the solarium, not the main pool area. So it may be a bit different if you were further aft.

great video guys :) our very first cruise was on the explorer on the 1st cruise from aus since the pandemic in may :) we had naughty late night nutella calzone from 400 gradi :) we had it again and hawwain pizza from gradi pronto on the adventure on our second cruise in november :) very yum again:) sadly none of the speciality restaurants were open on that cruise though, so couldnt go to lukes or 400 gradi.,

Your white balance on your camera is off the proper settings. It looks very blu-ish. Pls change your settings to warmer white balance
Hi thanks for your comment. We didn't notice that the white balance, had shifted off auto on us. We have placed it back onto Auto white balance, and keep checking it stays there. Thanks for letting us know.

Hi Kevin, glad you enjoyed the ship tour; you will absolutely love it on Pacific Explorer. Aileen and I have cruised to NZ a few times now, and we love it. In fact, we will be just ahead of you in NZ on Ovation of the seas I think we are in Fiorldand on the 13th.

Hi Terri, and welcome to the channel sorry about the late reply. A Christmas cruise sounds fantastic, we once sailed on Princess just before the Christmas cruise. They had the whole ship decorated for the season it was fantastic I'm sure P&O will do exactly the same. Keep tuned to the channel, because over the next week we will be doing a new video. this video will be full of helpful tips, and advice for first time cruisers like yourself.
We have only ever done one cruise, which was may 31st this year on the pacific explorer, we are going on our second cruise in 1 week, 6 days (yes im counting down hehe), on the pacific adventure :) really eager to go :) not long now :) we've been waiting 12 months for this cruise and it's almost here yay :) bring on the high seas :)
Hope you enjoy Pacific Adventure, let us know what you thaught of it as we are thinking of booking for next year. We were on your first cruise on the 31st of May, this video and our ship and bacony cabin tours are also done on that cruise.

I only just got off the P&O pacific explorer on the 14th and i had no idea what that silver thing was on the bathroom i thought it was an alarm of some sort lol
When I started cruising about 20 years ago, I thaught the same as you. I thaught it was a smoke alarm, to detect people lighting up in the bathroom. Then my friend pulled the line out, and hung his wet boardies on it lol.

It's a bit of a worry. When we went in August we had our results ready to show but they didn't look at it. It's a wonder they are even testing since it's an honor system.

Welcome to the channel Deb we are glad to have you onboard :) I'm Nathan And the other half of our channel, is my lovely wife Aileen. So far she has only been in 2 video's and is a bit nervous and shy in front of the camera, but she is hoping to overcome her nervousness to appear with me in more of our videos.
I wonder what will happen if i buy an internet package for our RCCL cruise in Nov 23 whilst it's still listed on there website as voom. If they will just swap it over to the star link? And wondering if it would be cheaper to purchase as zoom or wait for the new net to be installed
We are hoping that they don't raise the price either as we have an Alaskan sailing next September, where we have also purchased a Voom package for that sailing. I would say though they will just transfer it over to Starlink for no extra charge.
We are going on our second ever cruise on the pacific adventure in a few weeks travelling from tas to get to the cruise then cruising to Tangalooma and return to Sydney then home to tas :) a month and 3 days to go till we leave tas :) really looking forward to doing our second cruise :)
Fantastic Pacific Adventure is a fantastic ship. We sailed on her in 2019 when she was the Golden Princess, it was our last cruise before Covid hit. From what I have seen she has been given a huge refit by P&O Australia, and we are certain you will absolutely love her.
How much is the Assistant waiter's salary on P&O Australia?
Not sure Gurudas, but their is a a Facebook group for P&O Australia crew. Maybe you can join, I'm sure someone in that group will be able to tell you. Cheers

I hope Quantum is ok for its 1 November cruise. We've got 4 rooms booked for a major family occasion.
Hopefully they will work out the propulsion problem, before the transpacific sailing. we will keep you updated as that gets closer.
