🚨HOT TAKE!🚨: but I gotta put it out there: I hate Ricky and Gina together. People say they have chemistry and are great together but they rlly aren’t. They’re too awkward and try too hard not to be, they don’t have actual chemistry cuz the conversation isn’t a flow of cute banter it’s: one makes a cringe joke, other laughs and tried to pile on, repeat. I think the actors irl are prob great together so no hate to them. But I think the problem is that Ricky and Gina’s relationship was developing after Ricky got a sort of redemption and people started shipping him with Nini after the EJ-phone thing, so (personally) some may have seen Gina as an obstacle for Ricky and Nini to get back together. (Pls don’t hate on me too much, these are just my opinions that I wanted to put out there and just see what ppl thought)
to say that you hate them two together is a lot and they do have a lot of chemistry between them, i would say more than any couple on the show as a whole. it’s not awkwardness this is comfortability they can talk to each other about things that not a lot of ppl can just tell anyone they understand and know exactly what the other is feeling because they are both in a very similar situation

@@elizabethz7808 I would say Ricky and Gina grew into their romantic relationship over time (chemistry wise also) like it wasn't something they instantly had, which is why they always appealed to me personally because it felt less scripted and more authentic.
