What I Want in Predecessor | After Match Chat, Skins, Ranked, Role Queue
Hey everyone! This is want to see in Predecessor. Join me as I share some simple ideas to make the game even better. From making it easier to find the perfect role to play, to adding a competitive mode, and hey, who doesn't love more cool skins for our favorite characters? I love this game and I want to see it grow more! Let me know what you want to see added!
I do know that we just got more details for ranked mode but that part is just some of what I wanted to see come to it.

I am excited to share my first-ever helpful video, focusing on the awesome game, Predecessor. Of course, I'm sure I might have missed plenty of other strategies and things for the game. But hey, we all start...

Smite is still better, but the game is pretty damn awesome.
They need to fix the safe area or add a setting to adjust it. Because I can't see the bottom edge of my screen 😂😭
Firstly... just wanted to say... glad to find a Predecessor youtuber that's not just "here... watch my 40 minute game"... The main 5 things I want to see. 1.) AI replacement for players who disconnect. This should scale depending on the affinity level of the character that left the game and their skill level... IE, if a Master Khimera leaves, I want the AI to be great at their role. If a level 1 Khimera leaves, he still knows the role to a basic level. - We all know the pain of seeing the Jungler rage quit because his first gank failed. 2.) Scaled PvE. Sometimes I want to try a build but I don't want to play 40 minutes to know if it's any good. Let me play the PvE with characters levelling up at 5x the pace. Let us pick between 3 time settings... IE, "10 minute", "20 minute", "Full Match", with everything scaling. Also, let us pick the opponents and their affinity level. Maybe I want to test my Sevarog against Master Level Grux. (with the AI scaling) 3.) Customise Chat Tree's - I'm a jungle main, I should be able to say "Help me clear red buff", or "Sparrow, let Iggy come forward, I'm ready to gank him". These could either be presets that we are allowed to set up... or the team could use an LLM so that we can type our own in, without worrying about abuse. Mid Laners would no doubt like to tell Junglers to stop clearing the minions. 4.) During player selection... show our team mates our affinity level with characters. If there's a level 10 Khimera wanting the jungle, I'd let him take it rather than force him to play Carry. 5.) Player Badges - I tend to be an objective chaser. I'm never the guy in games that drops 20 kills but I am the guy who will hit every Fangtooth, I will pick up the mini prime often twice and probably finish most matches with the highest amount of Tower Damage. I'll also defend until the game is over, I don't quit, (I just played 48 minutes with a man down). I want the game to track what we all do in our matches, then create a player profile based on our last 10 games in each role with each character. (Maybe I jungle differently with Khi than with Rampage). These could be individual objectives in games to help train newbies on how to play certain roles but they would give our team mates a clue about who they are partnering up with. Anyhow... good luck with the channel. Hopefully you're the Nepenthez of Predecessor.

Nice video, adding to your comment that there is a practice range, there also is a vs bots mode that helps a lot with learning new heros.

Hey man i really enjoyed your video and your content style! You might want to take a second look at your pacing.There was a lot of dead space (specifically in the intro) and alot of the cuts could be more streamlined and speed up to maintain retention. Really nice video though! No hate lol keep up the good stuff <3

How does me killing them or them kill me affect anything besides them waiting to respond. Do I get gold? Level up faster?
Yes you get gold and xp but killing them also lets you farm more and get to their tower, or help others.
Does it have a MnK support on PS4/PS5??
Don't think so, can't find any games when you turn crossplay off so stuck with the disadvantage

@@greatmatt301 Hello! Yes I did. I have been playing it for two days now and I'm really enjoying it. It's especially enjoyable when people stick to their roles, and sticking to the role you got is a MUST. There is a fixed item slot that is tied to your role, and if, for example, you got the jungle role then only you will have the jungle item and it cannot be changed. The jungle item is not bought from the shop. If you are any other role then you will have a health potion in that slot. For fixed items, there are three fixed slots that cannot be changed, one is for the jungle item (only if you are a jungler) or an HP potion otherwise, one for wards, and the last for a crest (I think it's mentioned in this video). Then you have 5 other slots for normal items that you buy from the shop. In regards to performance, I had a lot of stuttering on dx11 (the default option) and none on dx12. Also, I only had one game crash on dx12 so far. This problem could be "my pc" problem, so in general the game plays fine. Here are some important points too: 1. The game pretty much plays like most other MOBA games. 2. As stressed in the video, the roles in the game are: Offlane, Jungle, Mid, Carry, and Support (Carry and Support are the Duo lane roles). 3. Depending on which side of the map your team is on, your Offlane could be bot or top side, and the duo lane will be on the opposite of the Offlane. 4. The map's jungle routes will take time or guides to know the optimal routes for the jungle role. 5. There are purple gates at each entrance to the jungle from the lanes. Those purple gates will prevent you from seeing any enemy player walking on the other side of the gate (basically it's like a fog of war) so you'll have to cross the gate to be able to see them or have a ward somewhere near to alarm you if anyone is coming from there. 6. For Itemization, I cannot say much because I didn't read all the items yet, but I could say that the recommended tab is fine at the beginning. However, you'll definitely have to know what the items do to be able to build your hero well for each match later on (As it is in other MOBA games).

Wait a minute there's only the latest skins that won't be in smite 2 (I think it was everything that came since last year or last 2 years). Normally there will be skins in Smite 2, atleast that's what I understood from the smite 2 announcements.

It’s looks amazing from what I seen and they’ve only been developing it for about 12 months. Given a full 2 yrs the game is gonna develop into something amazing and hopefully attract more players.

Magical crit is gonna break the game.
They didn’t say gems will be 100% refunded with legacy gems, they said partially meaning you’re getting less for more and you will have the recolored versions of existing skins look at the legacy pass it is just full of recolored skins. So disappointed
On their website it literally says 100% of gems. Even ones you got for free for signing in and or events…. They’re literally refunding all of it.
@@nainfuegoessentially but the gems will only account for 50% of whatever ur buying, so u will still need to pay a small amount. 50% coupon is a simple way of looking at it but those gems should last a really long time so I think it works out.
@@MiamiMAJIN well yeah, I'm just clearing up the confusion where people are thinking they're not getting all the gems back. Which indeed is false, 100% of the gems you'll get back.
I'm worried about what gods are coming because I play very few so if they aren't there I'm gonna be hard pressed to come over
Every God will be in the game its just gonna take time. They are putting in 2 gods every 2 week into the game. So in roughly a year, all goods will be back in the game
@kyoeki5 I must of miss heard that Parton their plan, but still with development there's always bumps in the road so I'd be surprised if it's that clean cut, fingers crossed you're right and they just bust them out and it all works out
To add, all God's will be there built from the ground up. No more hearing guan yu from across the map bug because if they'd tried to fix it they'd have to remove the last 40 gods added... No more spaghetti coding. Hopefully. Additionally, they're going to have five new gods ready for the release. The first they've announced is Hecate. I know a lot of pros and content creators are pretty pumped for it when initially they thought the idea would kill the game entirely. For them to have such a change of heart, I have hope for smite 2 I think.

I'm very happy the items change is the biggest plus it will make the gods more flexible like in LoL the. Only thing I'm worried about is the skins idrc but I'm already seeing people lose their mind so if they can do something other than 50% off then it will be fine otherwise its gonna be a big problem

Honestly, their solution of legacy gems and the divine legacy will solve this. As someone with a lot of skins and such, if the solution is rolled out as described it'll be fine. It's honestly MORE than fine. It's wayyy more than I thought they'd give to anyone for free lol. They're doing great so far and I don't think it will be an issue in the slightest honestly.

Ive been playing since chap 1, season 3 and this is so nostalgic to me, like hoppin on with the boys after a day at school to rage and make fun of each other for hours on end. I know the old map is back, but the feel and graphics will never be back😥
