I've been on T for 6 yrs, have a letter from my doctor stating that I'm "allowed" to have top surgery... Fucked up when you consider the average woman can get a plastic surgeon to give her a double Z chest w/o documentation. I'm on disabilty for a seizure d/o, and I co-parent a child, so any money not going to bills goes to his care. I tried applying for the Jim Collins grant but they choose just 1 person/yr. I know exactly how you feel. I still haven't started T which I'm hoping to in the next few months. As fat as top surgery I don't see how I will be able to afford it since I'm on a fixed income. Anyway if you need to talk hit me up my name is James btw.

i just started using silicone strip and yesterday i bought the scar away silicone serum. ill let u know how it goes in a month or so

@xymrn totally, you're not alone! i'm making more progress on getting surgery now, but it's still a long process. hang in there!

I can't see myself getting surgery for like a couple of years at least, and when I really contemplate it, I get myself in a mess. I really do agree with making short term goals. For me personally, I need to feel like I'm achieving something to try and keep momentum going. All we can really do is take control of what we can and work up to the big stuff I suppose. I hope that you're getting on alright :] If you want to chat just send me a message.. It'd be nice to chat
