Thank you for creating this informative video! I am interested in phenology and was struggling to understand this concept of Growing Degree Days. You clearly showed the way this unit is determined and I appreciated how it was related to a common plant, sweet corn.

Nice installation. But I'm not a big fan of the R.M. Young helicoid anemometers you guys are using. Due to the propeller having to be dead on to the wind if the vane is at an angle to the wind the propeller doesn't respond to the wind accordingly. I see so many stations using those helicoid anemometers and have seen the same issues. I think the cup anemometer has been and always will be the best mechanical anemometer. But other than that nice installation.
